Jalen Hurts issues brutal putdown to reporter after bizarre question at Super Bowl opening night

Jalen Hurts kept his response brutally honest when asked a bizarre question ahead of the Eagles’ Super Bowl showdown against the Chiefs in New Orleans.

During a press conference on Monday, a reporter asked the Philadelphia star, ‘How can I get more handsome?’

The question seemed to be yelled over from the back of the room, as the person asking did not have a mic on him.

‘My girlfriend says you’re the most handsome quarterback in this league, any advice? Something to do with my hair? I’m desperate, anything,’ the reporter added.

‘I don’t know if I can help you in that one,’ Hurts said, smirking. ‘Sounds like a DNA thing.’

The response was met with laughter as Hurts quickly turned his eyes in the opposite direction after responding.

Hurts and the Eagles hope to spoil the Chiefs’ attempt to win their third straight Super Bowl when they clash on Sunday at the Caesars Superdome.

This past season, Hurts completed 248 of 361 pᴀsses for 2,903 yards and 18 touchdowns. Furthermore, he rushed for 630 yards and found the end zone 14 times.

Philadelphia went 14-3 to top the NFC East, with their only losses being against Atlanta, Tampa Bay, and Washington.

In the postseason, the Birds routed the Packers, Rams, and Commanders to book their ticket to the big game against Kansas City.

Aside from Hurts’ ability to run the ball, the Eagles’ acquisition of running back Saquon Barkley from the Giants has impacted their success.

Barkley carried 345 times for 2,005 yards and a career-high 13 touchdowns for Philadelphia.
