Erice Town: A Historic Paradise on the Mountain Top of Sicily

The town of Erice, located at an alтιтude of about 750 meters above sea level, is a historical gem on the limestone peak of Monte Erice in western Sicily, Italy. Erice, whose Italian name is “Erice”, was once a stronghold of the Elymians, an ancient tribe, before the development of the city of Trapani.
