Tracy Wolfson bothered by ‘all the hate’ for Chiefs after thrilling AFC Championship game

Tracy Wolfson doesn’t want to hear about Chiefs fatigue.

The veteran NFL sideline reporter for CBS, who covered the Chiefs’ 32-29 victory over the Bills in the AFC Championship game on Sunday, explained that she doesn’t enjoy hearing negativity about Kansas City’s dominance ahead of their third straight Super Bowl appearance.

“Another classic (Sunday) night,” Wolfson wrote Monday on X. “I feel for [Buffalo quarterback] Josh Allen and the Bills but also don’t enjoy hearing all the hate on the Chiefs. I witnessed [former quarterback Tom] Brady and the Pats dominance first hand and what KC is doing feels just like that. Let’s take a moment and appreciate what [Patrick] Mahomes and the Chiefs have accomplished.”

Kansas City is the first back-to-back champion to return to the Super Bowl — putting them on the brink of a historic three-peat.

Mahomes and the Chiefs ended the Bills’ season in the playoffs for the fourth time in the past five years.

This time, it came after Allen played lights out during the regular season, cementing him in the MVP conversation.

Mahomes and Chiefs coach Andy Reid have taken the torch from a Patriots that was led by Bill Belichick and Brady in Foxborough.

The Belichick-Brady era, from the 2000-2019, included six Super bowl тιтles, nine AFC тιтles and winning the AFC East 17 times.

Brady won four Super Bowl MVPs with New England and another with the Buccaneers before he hung up his jersey for good in February 2023.

Brady and Joe Burrow (Bengals) are the only two quarterbacks who’ve defeated Mahomes in conference тιтle games — both needing overtime in 2019 and 2023.

Mahomes, 29, is chasing his fourth Super Bowl тιтle with the Chiefs, and he has three Super Bowl MVPs.

The Chiefs and Eagles will meet in a Super Bowl rematch in New Orleans on Feb. 9. That game will be broadcast by Fox.

Kansas City beat Philadelphia, 38-35, in Super Bowl 2023.
