While the situation between the Heat and Jimmy Butler may not be a laughing matter for those involved, Kevin Love and the disgruntled Miami star both are having a ball poking fun at the drama.
Butler was suspended for a third time — this time indefinitely — on Monday after he walked out of a team shootaround when he learned Haywood Highsmith would start over him, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Love, currently Butler’s teammate despite the guard’s on-going trade request, found the humor in the whole situation and posted a video of Denzel Washington’s Academy Award-winning performance as Detective Alonzo Harris in the movie “Training Day” to his Instagram.
