Adam Schefter unʙuттons Dan Orlovsky’s shirt on live TV: ‘Be a man’

We all learned — and saw — a little bit more about ESPN’s Dan Orvlovsky than we bargained for Thursday morning.

While previewing this weekend’s Bills vs. Chiefs AFC Championship game on “Get Up,” reporter Adam Schefter began unʙuттoning his co-host’s shirt as fellow studio analyst Harry Douglas told Orvlovsky to “stick his chest out” and “be a man” while making picks for the game.

It appeared that Orlovsky was hesitant to make his choice as there was a question mark under his name, while the other three panelists had picked their winner.

After a few ʙuттons were moved and Schefter exposed Orvlovsky’s skin and a necklace, he said, “He’s got chest hair, let’s see,” while the former quarterback looked around the panel as they laughed.

“It’s shaved,” Orvlovsky said.

“That’s an HR violation right there,” Jason McCourty added.

Orvlovsky perked up as he heard that comment, looking at Schefter, saying, “Eh, you’ll be hearing from my people,” with a big smile on his face.

Clearly rattled by the ordeal that resulted in his chest being exposed, Orvlovsky fumbled on his words but ended the conversation by saying that “football-wise,” he believes the Bills should win Sunday.

Meanwhile, Mike Greenberg took the Chiefs, while McCourty and Douglas each picked the Bills to emerge victorious and advance to the Super Bowl.

It takes some real chest hair to take the Bills this weekend, considering recent history where it feels like the Bills will never be able to overcome Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.

Despite beating them in the regular season four consecutive times, the Bills have been eliminated by the Chiefs in the playoffs during the 2020, 2021 and 2023 seasons.

Buffalo beat the Chiefs, 20-17, during the regular season this year but is still a two-point underdog Sunday.
