Fans baffled as Philadelphia Eagles sell the snow from their playoff win over the Los Angeles Rams

NFL fans are puzzled after the Philadelphia Eagles sold snow from their playoff win over the Los Angeles Rams this weekend.

Despite the frosty conditions at the City of Brotherly Love, the Birds secured a 28-22 to move on to the NFC championship to face Washington.

To commemorate the win, the Eagles decided to make money from the snow that coated Lincoln Financial during the east coast-west coast showdown.

After the news surfaced, fans expressed their thoughts on the bizarre item for sale on social media.

‘I just hope they didn’t take that snow from the parking lot. I made some serious yellow snow in one of the parking lots after the game,’ one user wrote.

‘What happens if you eat it? Asking for a friend,’ a second added.

This is a new one. The Eagles are selling the snow from the snow game and Saquon Barkley setting the Eagles playoff record with 205 rushing yards.“The snow, being offered in partnership with The Realest™, has been collected, carefully preserved, and authenticated to allow fans… pic.twitter.com/He31GD4IED

‘No way,’ a third chimed in. ‘Who makes those decisions? Marketing Dept? I find it hard to believe that this got the green light from Jeffrey. I mean, is this what the gold standard really means?’

‘This is a scam money grab don’t fall for it,’ a fourth claimed.

A fifth commented, ‘This “Let’s Hunt” thing is weird… We have a great team.. Lets enjoy it.. We don’t need to be worked over all the time from a marketing standpoint.’

The snow from the game is stored in an ice cream-style tub and sold out for $50 apiece. The lid has the team motto ‘Let’s Hunt’ printed while the tub itself has the Eagles logo with the item тιтle under it.

The item description on the Eagles’ The Realest merchandise store, the snow was ‘collected from the end zone at Lincoln Financial Field after the Eagles’ playoff win over the LA Rams. Packaged in insulated containers with dry ice and detailed care instructions.’

‘Shipping is available within the United States only,’ the website wrote under conditions. ‘To ensure the field snow arrives in pristine condition, each order is shipped in an insulated package with 2 lbs of dry ice to maintain optimal preservation. The $15 shipping fee covers all necessary materials and handling to securely deliver this unique collectible.’

The site also sells grᴀss clippings from several games this past season for $29.99.

The victor between Philadelphia and Washington will face the winner between Kansas City and Buffalo in the Super Bowl on February 9.
