Brittany Mahomes gives Patrick pregame kiss six days after birth of their third child

Playoff football in Kansas City is a family affair — especially for the Mahomes family, which, just six days ago, got one tot bigger.

Brittany Mahomes was on the field at Arrowhead Stadium Saturday and sent her husband off into action against the Texans with a pregame kiss.

She appeared unperturbed by the freezing temperatures, much less the fact that she just gave birth to their third child, Golden Raye, last Sunday.

The Chiefs quarterback and the fitness entrepreneur — who are already parents to Sterling Skye, 3, and Bronze, 2 — commemorated the birth of their second daughter with a joint Instagram post on Monday that featured Golden Raye’s little feet between their hands.

“Hopefully God works the right way and we can have that baby on ‘the bye’ week somewhere, and then everything will work out perfectly,” Patrick Mahomes had told Kay Adams on a pre-taped segment that aired on Netflix prior to the Chiefs 29-10 win over the Steelers on Christmas Day.

In an alternate universe, Mahomes’ Chiefs were playing last Sunday night when Golden Raye was born, but Kansas City earned a first-round bye so the quarterback could be with his family for his daughter’s birth.

Perfection will be one step closer to within reach if the Chiefs can knock down C.J. Stroud and the Texans in the divisional round and advance to the conference championship game.

Brittany’s kiss seemed to have proven effective early on, with Mahomes completing 7 of 13 attempts for 114 yards in the game’s first half.

The Chiefs took to the locker room with a 13-6 lead.
