Plot Summary:Humanity’s last hope lies in those who once believed the war had ended. Transformers 8 thrusts us into an epic showdown as Unicron, the God of Chaos, awakens and sends Earth’s orbit into chaos, pushing the planet toward destruction. The once-fragile peace between humanity and the Autobots shatters.
Optimus Prime is forced to confront a painful truth: his strength alone won’t be enough to stop Unicron’s destruction. In a desperate search for a solution, he seeks out the Wisdom of the Cube, hidden deep within the minds of Sam Witwicky and Mikaela Banes.
The two, long out of the fight, find themselves key to a planetary defense system forged in an ancient war. With the Autobots on the verge of extinction and Unicron’s heralds closing in, Optimus takes the bold step of freeing Megatron. United by the need to save the universe, enemies must now join forces to prevent the end of all worlds.
