Disney is finally moving forward with TRON: Ares, the third installment in the TRON franchise. Following the events of TRON: Legacy (2010), the new film will continue the story of humanity’s interaction with the digital world of the Grid, where programs come to life and conflicts escalate to epic proportions.

Directed by Garth Davis (Lion), the movie promises to explore deeper themes of technology, idenтιтy, and control. Ares revolves around a new protagonist, Ares, who emerges as a powerful figure within the Grid.

While the specifics of the storyline remain under wraps, insiders have hinted that Ares, unlike the characters before him, is neither a program nor human. His unique origins set the stage for a clash between worlds—both digital and real
