Ex-NFL star Robert Quinn is seen in horrific mugsH๏τ after 'trying to flee accident scene' in South Carolina

Former first-round NFL Draft pick Robert Quinn has been arrested in South Carolina, where police say he was caught fleeing the scene of an accident.

The retired defensive end and once-feared pᴀss rusher is seen in a horrific mugsH๏τ from Charleston County, where the 34-year-old was booked and released earlier Friday. Quinn, a former star with the St. Louis Rams and Dallas Cowboys, is pictured with bloody wounds across his forehead, nose, mouth and temple in the disturbing image.

He has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident with property damage and reckless driving.

Police in North Charleston responded to a local car dealership in the early hours of Friday morning after reports of a collision involving a red truck.

The local fire department was the first to arrive and later told police the suspect appeared to be attempting to flee the scene of the crash in another car.

When police eventually did arrive, they found Quinn in the pᴀssenger seat of a white Dodge Challenger. The driver then told officers she’d been called by Quinn to ‘pick him up,’ according to information provided to Dallas’ Fox affiliate. That woman is said to work at G-Club, a local gentleman’s club where Quinn was seen earlier that night.

Quinn exhibited slurred speech and was uncooperative with officers, according to police, who claimed he asked ‘where is my wallet’ as he held it in his hand.

He even tried to avoid arrest by holding the vehicle door closed, but was eventually removed and ‘escorted to the ground,’ according to Fox 4 Dallas.

Police say a maroon Ford F-150 registered to Quinn was on the premises and appeared to have hit the pᴀssenger side of a Honda Element, which then flew into several other cars.

Surveillance camera show Quinn’s truck driving down the road at around 2am Friday before veering across an intersection and over a median before entering the dealership.

The collision is not seen on camera, but it was heard by others, according to police.

At 2:03, police say, a single person is seen walking through the parking lot and to a nearby gas station before heading back and stumbling several times.

Shortly after, the Dodge Challenger arrives, according to police.

DailyMail.com has reached out to North Charleston police for further information.

This is not the first vehicular charge Quinn has faced.

In August of 2023, he was charged in South Carolina for crashing into several cars before slapping a woman.

‘He was very belligerent,’ one local told WCSC at the time. ‘He kept saying: ‘Oh don’t worry about it I’ll buy you new cars, I’ll buy you new car, let’s go to the dealership.’

‘I told him to get off my property and he proceeded to put his hands on me and slap me not once but twice.’

He was also arrested in Missouri in 2012 on a DWI charge.

He has been out of the NFL since 2022.
