Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka will be interviewing for other jobs.

Kafka will talk with the Bears and the Saints on Thursday for their vacant head coaching positions, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported.

The 37-year-old has been a part of the Giants’ coaching staff since Brian Daboll took over in 2022 and had the role of ᴀssistant head coach added to his resume this past season.

Before New York, has was the quarterbacks coach in Kansas City (2018-19) before moving up to pᴀssing game coordinator (2020-21).

Kafka addressed his future with the Giants before their Week 18 game against the Eagles.

“I love being here and I love working for Dabs and everybody,” Kafka told reporters.

He’s been one of the big names that’s ended up on the coaching carousel during the past two offseasons and was notably a finalist for the Seahawks head coach job last year.

He also interviewed for the тιтans’ top coaching vacancy last offseason.

In the year prior, Kafka spoke with the Panthers, Texans, Colts and Cardinals about their respective openings.

“My focus hasn’t been on [getting interviews], my focus has been on Philly,” Kafka said last week when he was pressed by reporters. “Just getting prepared for the game this weekend.”

Kafka did add that he was under contract with the Giants next season, and Daboll told reporters that he would like to have his offensive coordinator back next season.

“He does a good job for us,” he said at the start of January.

The Bears and Saints have made a number of requests to teams to speak with candidates for their openings.

Chicago has asked to speak with Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn and offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, Dolphins DC Anthony Weaver and Cardinals OC Drew Petzing.

The Bears are also expected to bring in Super Bowl champion Pete Carroll for an interview, according to ESPN’s Dan Graziano.

New Orleans also requested to speak with Glenn, Weaver and Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady.
