Pat McAfee unloads on Colts, Jonathan Taylor: ‘Trade his f–king ᴀss out of town’

Pat McAfee previously admitted that the Colts team does not like him and it’s easy to understand why.

When making his picks against the spread for Week 18, McAfee took the Colts -5.5 against the lowly Jaguars, but not without some backhanded comments about his former team.

“I wish we could transfer portal the whole f–king team,” McAfee said on his show. “We need like 70 guys to hit the portal, we can’t do it in the NFL, I guess. Just in case I ever wanted to pitch myself as the president of the Indianapolis Colts, not that I ever would. I’d put a plan together, ‘How do you get rid of this entire f–king roster?’”

McAfee then ran down the roster of who should remain in Indianapolis.

Spoiler alert: it’s not many.

“Except for [Michael] Pittman,” he said. “I want Pittman here. I want [Alec] Pierce here. Let’s keep Quinton Nelson. Lets keep DeForest Buckner. Let’s keep Kenny Moore. I like Kenny Moore.”

McAfee then surprisingly singled out arguably the Colts’ biggest star and their quarterback.

“Other than that, see ya. Every one of them. Goodbye. Take a hike. Thanks for coming,” McAfee said. “Jonathan Taylor? Trade his f–king ᴀss out of town. You got a second-round pick? Sweet. First would be better, we’ll do this for the good of the program. Anthony Richardson was a good project. Get him out of town. Fourth-rounder or whatever the hell you got. See ya. That’s what I would do. We need a full reset.”

McAfee has been highly critical of this team throughout the season, notably after quarterback Anthony Richardson pulled himself out of a Week 8 game for being tired before a third down play in the red zone.

The ESPN star called for Richardson’s job immediately and later questioned the leadership on the team after they lost to the Giants in Week 17.

“A blind person could see the red flags on this team,’ McAfee posted on X on Dec. 29. “Work ethic questions, NEVER happens on good teams.. Preparation commitment questions, NEVER happens on good teams.. Late to meetings, NEVER happens on good teams.. Late to/skipping treatment, NEVER happens on good teams.. The franchise QB tapped out of a game.. on 3rd down.. in the red zone.. because he was tired… NEVER HAPPENED in the history of the NFL.”

Indianapolis was still fighting for a playoff spot when it allowed Drew Lock and the then 2-13 Giants to slice and dice its defense and knock the Colts out of the playoff hunt.
