The Battle of Visby (1361) was a violent Medieval battle that took place near the town of Visby (Island of Gotland), fought between the inhabitants of Gotland and the Danes, with the latter emerging victorious.

Soldiers,found still wearing armor,fought the battle of Visby (22 July  1361)on Gotland Island (Sweden).The ᴅᴇᴀᴅ fighters were buried in mᴀss graves  alongside their chainmail shirts,gloves and weapons.[4560x3082] :  r/ArtefactPorn
