Just days after Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s split was revealed, new details are surfacing regarding trust in the relationship.

The 38-year-old actress and 34-year-old singer (born Colson Baker) started dating in June 2020, and they got engaged in January 2022.

The actress then revealed in March that she called off the engagement, but just last month, she announced they were expecting their first child.

They split once again over the Thanksgiving holiday, with sources close to Fox’s friends admitting they want her to end the relationship for good, calling him ‘toxic.’

While neither Fox nor MGK have addressed the split publicly, sources close to Fox tell People that she is ‘devastated and very emotional’ about the split.

‘She feels like she can’t trust him. They have had so many issues in the past,’ the source said, after it was reported that Fox found something on his phone that was ‘upsetting.’

‘Megan was always hopeful that they would be able to work it out. She seems over it now, though,’ the source added.

Another source said Fox was, ‘blind-sided’ by the discovery on his phone that led to the split.

‘She’s been distraught,’ another source said, adding she was, ‘trying to focus on’ her pregnancy, which is, ‘her priority’ now.

Another source insisted, however, that the couple will likely reconcile, as they have done in the past.

‘Their relationship has always been bumpy. They love each other but don’t have compatible personalities,’ that source said.

‘They’re both H๏τ-heads, dramatic and stubborn. When they’re good together, they’re great,’ the source said.

‘They will very likely get back together. They’ve split in the past and then worked things out,’ the source insisted.

They ended their near five year romance over Thanksgiving weekend while together in Vail, Colorado – with the actress around six months pregnant with their first child together.

Fox’s inner circle are said to be concerned MGK is a ‘toxic influence’ on her well-being with sources telling TMZ her friends have advised her to ‘move on once and for all.’

Sources claimed Fox’s distress is ‘deepened’ by a ‘continuous cycle of breaking up and reconciling’ but that the star ‘feels like he needs her.’

Another source added: ‘She has a history of taking him back, even when things don’t get better. She deserves better than this.’

The pair are said to have split less than two weeks after the pregnancy reveal after Fox ‘found material on MGK’s phone that was upsetting, and it made her want him to leave the trip early’ per TMZ.
