Nepo baby Kiki Truman celebrated her 20th birthday on Monday and her famous mum took to Instagram to share a sweet post to mark the special day. 

Actress Kiki is the only daughter of soap star Charlie Brooks, who is best known for starring as Janine Butcher in EastEnders and is set to take on Dancing On Ice in January.

Sharing a gallery of pictures of daughter Kiki from childhood to now, Charlie gushed ‘What an adventure’. 

In a few snaps, Charlie was seen posing with her little girl as a child and the soap star also shared a few of her daughter looking glamorous as she dressed up in leopard print.

Charlie wrote: ’20 years ago today I birthed this wild thing @kikitruman. So pleased the frontal lobe is starting to form.

‘What an adventure. Thank you for choosing me to be ya mamma, and your dad @tonytrumanibiza .

‘We are here for all of it and we love you more than you could know. Happy birthday baby.’

Kiki is the daughter of Charlie and her ex Tony Truman, who is an entrepreneur with a string of hospitality ventures in Ibiza including the popular Ocean Beach Ibiza.

Tony also took to Instagram to mark the occasion with a gallery of sweet snaps and gushed that Kiki has ‘changed his life for the better’.

He penned: ‘Today my beautiful little Kiki custard turns 20 @kikitruman. In 2004, we never expected to become parents myself & @charlie_brooks_xx

‘(And at the time… a kid was the last thing we were thinking off, but sometimes the biggest surprises are the best surprises & both of us would not change it for the world baby)

‘But it certainly changed my life for the better in every way possible. A daddy-daughter bond is so super special.

‘And I’m so lucky to experience the joy of fatherhood for 2 decades now, the first decade was an unbelievable time of watching her grow from this tiny little baby into a sweet precious baby girl, learning her first 3 words of daddda , duckkk & Chelse….she couldn’t quite get the 3rd word but sure you can guess what it was.’ 

Tony went onto reflect on his relationship with Kiki over the last two decades from ‘learning to ride a bike and swim’ as a child to ‘boyfriends, nights out and driving’ as a teenager.

He continued: ‘But do you know what who cares, when you love your child unconditionally it’s all part of being a parent & your kids growing up , part of life .

‘Through all that my love for Kiki never wavered and never will she will always be my baby girl no matter what age.

‘Fast-forward 20 years & she’s grown into the most incredible person and yes, still a bit of a little s*** at times.

‘But I wouldn’t change a thing! Kiki, you make me so proud. It’s an absolute honour to be your dad. Love you always, darling ❤️

‘Not forgetting my darling @charlie_brooks_xx for being the most incredible mummy to our daughter all these years I love u both’.

Charlie was introduced to her ex-partner when she was just 21 by former co-star Dean Gaffney.

The actress ended her relationship with Tony in 2006, but the couple continued living under the same roof for more than six months after their separation.

Speaking of the decision to continue living together in 2007, she told Sunday magazine: ‘We knew our friendship would continue because that’s how our relationship started.

In 2021 Charlie revealed that despite no longer being together, she and Tony remain close with him living in the flat above theirs in London

‘People ask if it’s weird still living together, but we’re just getting on with it for Kiki’s sake.’

Speaking to the Mail Online at the time, she explained: ‘He is absolutely my family and nothing will ever change that, no matter how much we fall out, which we have done, big time.

Charlie first joined the BBC soap to play Janine in 1999, which she stayed as until she left the soap in May 2004. 

The actress has since rejoined and left the soap various times, including a long stint from April 2021.
