I’m A Celebrity’s Tulisa Contostavlos and Reverend Richard Coles fight back TEARS in gruesome eating trial

I’m A Celebrity’s Tulisa and Reverend Richard Coles were left ‘shedding tears’ while eating dishes that taste like ‘a volcano of death’ during the Jungle TV Dinners.

The singer, 36, and the the priest, 62, both put themselves forward to face the gruelling challenge.

‘I wanted a chance to redeem myself after the five star situation and this was it,’ the N-Dubz star said.

‘We’re reaching for the stars today!,’ echoed Richard.

As the brave duo entered the trial clearing, they found Ant and Dec relaxing on a sofa in a jungle living room set up.

Ant and Dec then revealed that the day’s eating trial would involve them flicking through streaming service Jungle on Demand.

When they see a show they like they’ll click on it and a Bushtucker dish themed on that show would then be delivered on the microwave for them to tuck in, with each dish being worth one star for camp.

Dished variated from names such as ‘Love Eye-land’, ‘Britain’s Snot talent’, ‘Reek-y blinders’, ‘Made in Hell-Sea’ and ‘Line of Booty’ on the menu.

Despite the challenge, Tulisa and Richard vowed to give it their best sH๏τ to win meals for camp.

The rapper was left shedding tears while Rev Richard described a dish as ‘death and then a volcano of death in your mouth’.

But the pair wasn’t in for a knock out, and worked their way through 5 dishes each, and a bonus dish that they split, succeeding in winning an impressive 11 out of 11 stars for camp.

Returning to camp to tell the rest the good news, they were all overjoyed knowing they’d have a good hearty dinner that evening.

It comes after fellow campmate Barry McGuigan has won votes from arguably the most powerful of backers – Parliament.

Canterbury MP, Rosie Duffield has told MailOnline: ‘I’m really proud to support my consтιтuent Barry McGuigan on I’m A Celebrity.

‘He’s shown his true character while in camp, working hard and supporting the other campmates.

The Independent MP has been catching up with I’m A Celeb at the weekends when she has some downtime from Parliament.

It comes after Ms Duffield, 53, resigned from the Labour Party in September and in her resignation letter, she criticised Starmer’s ‘cruel and unnecessary policies’, “sleaze, nepotism and apparent avarice”, and ‘hypocrisy’ over his acceptance of gifts.

She has since spoken out about feeling unsupported by the Labour Party in the past over her views on trans issues and did not attend the 2021 Labour Party conference after online threats to her safety following a row over transgender rights.

Last month, Ms Duffield complained that Sir Keir Starmer offered her ‘no apology’ when the two finally spoke after she told a whip she had not been talked to in two-and-a-half years.

Ms Duffield has been the MP for Canterbury since 2017 and hopes to be re-elected.

Barry McGuigan and his family left their home in Clones in the border regions of Northern Ireland and moved to Kent in 1987.
