Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen are engaged.
The actress, 27, said “yes” to the NFL star, 28, on Friday, November 22, in a waterfront proposal.
The pair revealed the news on Friday, November 29, with an Instagram post showing the moment they got engaged. Allen proposed at sunset in front of a flower arch while down on one knee. The snap showed Steinfeld kissing her new fiancé.
The couple were first linked when they were spotted together in New York City in May 2023, shortly after Allen ended his eight-year relationship with girlfriend Brittany Williams.
In June 2023, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that Allen and Steinfeld’s courtship was “going really great,” adding, “[They] laugh a ton when they’re together [and] are always smiling.”

While they’ve largely kept their romance out of the spotlight, Allen publicly acknowledged his relationship status in August 2023 when questioned about his response to being pH๏τographed with Steinfeld on vacation. “The fact that anybody cares about that still blows my mind,” he said on the “Pardon My Take” podcast.
Steinfeld was later seen going shopping with his mother and showing support for her boyfriend at a Buffalo Bills game in October 2023. The same month, she and the quarterback stepped out for a rare date night at a Buffalo Sabres vs. New York Rangers NHL game.

Fans got a candid glimpse of the pair in March, Allen suffered a hilarious wardrobe malfunction while attending Paris Fashion Week with Steinfeld.
“My pants ripped at dinner 😟🤣,” he wrote on X at the time. “Didn’t want cheeks out… I love Paris 😁.”

The twosome later made a sweet cameo in a video from his pregnant older sister Nicala Madden’s Sєx reveal party. “I’m Josh,” Allen stated in the TikTok, which showed several family members and friends predicting the Sєx of the baby. “I’m Hailee,” Steinfeld quipped before correctly guessing Allen would be getting a new nephew.

Ahead of their engagement, Steinfeld shut down speculation that the athlete had proposed after she was seen sporting a diamond ring.
“I do got a cute little doe happening,” she told E! News as she displayed her jewelry at the 2024 Golden Globes, sharing a subtle update on the duo’s relationship. “No particular reason other than I just thought it was real cute.”
When asked to name her favorite aspect of dating an athlete, Steinfeld quipped, “Listen, what isn’t it about? Come on now.”
