Ellie Goulding turned heads in a tailored grey co-ord as she made a stylish departure from the Rolling Stone UK Awards on Thursday night.

The singer, 37, looked incredible in the Michael Kors blazer and matching long shorts as she exited the star-studded ceremony held at The Roundhouse in Camden, London. 

Ellie paired the quirky suit with a grey high-neck ruched t-shirt and knee-high black sheer stocking as well as patent stilettos.

Her golden locks were left down in loose waves as she carried a small black leather bag and accessorised with gold earrings.

The Burn songstress seemed in good spirits as she departed with a friend who was dressed in all black. 

Meanwhile Nile Rodgers, who picked up the Global Award during the ceremony, wrapped up in a white scarf, gloves and long beige coat as he exited the awards with singer Simon Le Bon.

The musician, 72, rocked a white satin blazer beneath his jacket and opted for a pair of eye catching black and silver jeans.

Meanwhile Simon braved the British weather in a leopard print scarf and navy long jacket as he exited for the evening. 

Toby Jones looked in good spirits as he departed after winning the Television Award for his role in Mr Bates vs The Post Office.

The actor dressed smart in a navy suit which he paired with a white shirt and a yellow spotted scarf. 

Irish comedian Aisling Bea commanded attention in a brown checked blazer and matching wide legged trousers. 

She opted for a bold pink and red large scarf and elevated her figure in a pair of green stilettos.  

It comes after Ellie shared a rare snap of her four-year-old son Arthur earlier this month as she posted a plethora of images to Instagram.

The singer was seen planting a kiss on the cheek of her little boy, who adorably donned a matching Spider-Man costume to his mum, which was presumably for Halloween.

Ellie looked besotted as she cuddled up to her boy as they spent quality time together. 

The Lights hitmaker shares her son with ex-husband Caspar Jopling, with the former couple confirming their split in February this year.

As well as a pH๏τo of her only son, Ellie uploaded a series of images on her grid as she documented a recent trip to Los Angeles.

Ellie was seen soaking up the LA sunshine in some snaps, while others saw her getting glammed up and relaxing in between recording sessions.

Last year, the performer made rare comments about her then two-year-old boy during an appearance on This Morning. 

The Love Me Like You Do singer released her first album since becoming a mother and discussing her new music, Ellie detailed her little boy’s adorable reaction to her songs.

She told hosts Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle: ‘Thank you. He’s nearly two. That’s the best thing, that this album I get to see his reaction which is the greatest of all. Not when he puts his fingers in his ears to some of them.

‘But mostly… he loves miracle and he loves how long will I love you for some reason. That one too.’

It comes as Ellie recently split from her boyfriend Armando Perez.

The musician and the surf instructor – who is eight years her junior – struck up a romance when he gave her surfing lessons as she rang in the New Year in Costa Rica.

However friends of the pair told MailOnline that their relationship has now run its course.

One said: ‘Amando and Ellie were very attracted to one another. Despite the age gap, they struck up an instant chemistry when he gave her private surfing lessons.

‘They soon formed a bond and loved spending time together – Ellie loved hanging out on the beach with Armando to get away from everything that was going on back home after her marriage had come to an end.’

‘Armando was used to spending his days instructing in the water and running around barefoot in swim shorts, and was more comfortable enjoying his “quiet life” without the “drama” of being in the public eye,’ the source added.

‘They had a very special time together and she visited the country a lot. But they are from very different backgrounds.’

They added: ‘She is a big pop star from England while Armando’s whole life is based here in Playa Hermosa. He loves it here and I doubt he would have any plans to leave.

‘Their lives are very different and so it was natural for them both to eventually move on. But they still remain great friends.’

The couple met at the turn of the year when Ellie had gone to the Central American beach resort for a yoga and surf retreat with two close friends – actresses Emily Wickersham and Alessandra Ford Balazs – where they rented a swanky hillside villa.

The holiday was a break for Ellie after she had in private separated from her art dealer husband Caspar Jopling. 

When pictures emerged of Ellie and Armando in swimsuits kissing pᴀssionately in the sea, the mother-of-one then took the decision to make public that her five-year marriage to Caspar, 31, had previously come to an end. 

Confirming their split on Instagram, she wrote: ‘In light of recent stories, I feel I have been left with no choice but to let you all know that Caspar and I privately separated some time ago.

‘We remain the closest of friends and have been successfully co-parenting with our son’s best interests at heart.’
