Rebekah Vardy ‘couldn’t love’ Oti Mabuse more after she broke down in tears over being homesick on I’m A Celebrity

Rebekah Vardy has said she ‘couldn’t love’ Oti Mabuse more after she spoke about missing her family on Thursday’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Revealing to her campmates that she misses her family’s support, the dancer, 34, said: ‘You know they say you have a dip, and I don’t think I’ve had one until now.’

‘You don’t have your normal support you know, you don’t have your spiritual support, you don’t have your emotional support, you don’t have your physical…’

‘It’s the mental and physical support for me which for me I was just like, ‘’Wow, ok none of my family’s around.”‘

Writing in her column for The Sun, Rebekah expressed her sympathies for Oti, adding that it can also be difficult to adjust to normal life again when you leave the jungle.

She said: After seeing Oti open up about missing her family, I don’t think I could love her more. You can see she is such a genuine person.

But this is just the start of the emotional rollercoaster – it really is tough to adapt back to normal life when you come out of the jungle. Oti, keep going. You are brilliant.’

The campmates clubbed together to comfort Oti, with Tulisa consoling her by saying: ‘Your jungle family’s here though.’

An emotional Oti later shared in the Bush Telegraph: ‘I just have to remind myself why I’m here, I just have to push and dig deep.’

‘I’m here for my daughter and I have to be strong. It’s just exhausting sometimes to be strong.’

It comes after Rebekah slammed this year’s I’m A Celebrity lineup for leaving the camp in a ‘disgusting’ state, after it was invaded by rats in Wednesday’s show.

Viewers saw this year’s celebrities be reprimanded by bosses after they failed to clean their dishes properly, attracting several rodents in the middle of the night.

Writing in her latest column for The Sun, Rebekah said the campmates need to ‘clean their mess up’ to avoid attracting vermin to the camp.

She wrote: ‘Clean your mess up you lot. It’s disgusting, you know you need to keep things tidy, otherwise the rats will definitely come and the snakes will appear.’

Rebekah also lambasted Dean McCullough for complaining about his camp chores, after Melvin Odoom noted he’d taken the brunt of the workload when it came to keeping water topped up for the camp.

She added: ‘Stop moaning Teabag. Just get on with it.’

Rebekah was also full of praise for Tulisa, who earned five stars during her Bushtucker Trial, while also sharing her hilarious take on the singer’s iconic name.

Pronouncing her name as ‘Tu-loosa,’ she said: ‘One person who did well last night is Tulisa, and she tried so hard with that trial. And I love that she named her first Premier League club as Leicester. It’s clearly quite memorable for her.’
