Richard Gere spent his Thanksgiving holiday in his new overseas home with his wife Alejandra Silver, both hitting the red carpet at the Elle for Future Awards in Madrid.

The 75-year-old actor and his 41-year-old wife were spotted rocking black ensembles at the pH๏τocall, held at the Four Seasons in Madrid.

The couple’s outing is their first time seen in public since they both moved to Madrid, bringing his wife back to her home country of Spain.

The Emmy-nominated actor was spotted donning a classic black tuxedo with a black coat, white shirt, black bowtie, black pants and black shoes.

His wife opted for a stunning strapless black dress with colorful pink and blue encrusted embellishments all over the gown.

She accessorized with gold hoop earrings, a stunning gold necklace with encrusted diamonds and matching gold and diamond bracelets.

She also accessorized with a number of gold and diamond rings for her time on the red carpet.

Her long flowing gown obscured her footwear for the evening as she walked the red carpet with her husband of five years.

They sold their Connecticut ranch earlier this month for $10.75 million, ahead of the couple’s move to Spain with their two sons, Alexander, five, and James, four.

He revealed the move back in April in an interview with Vanity Fair Espana, revealing they plan on spending at least six years there.

‘She was very generous in giving me six years living in my world, so I think it is only fair that I give her at least another six living in hers,’ he told the magazine.

Prior to moving to Connecticut, Gere owned an estate in the celebrity-favored area of Pound Ridge, New York, roughly an hour from Manhattan.

In May 2022, he sold that property for $28 million, according to Mansion Global, just two months before purchasing his New Canaan home.

Richard and Alejandra’s romance began in 2014, when they reconnected in Italy after first meeting years earlier through a mutual friend.

Despite their 34-year age difference, the two quickly bonded over their shared pᴀssions for humanitarian work and spirituality.

They married in a private ceremony at Gere’s estate in upstate New York in 2018.

Gere most recently starred in Longing with Diane Kruger and he will next be seen in Showtime’s The Agency, debuting November 29.
