New details surrounding Jesse James and Bonnie Rotten’s divorce are being uncovered.
According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, Rotten, 31, filed for divorce and a protective order against her estranged husband on November 19 and requested the court to award her a cat named Olive, clothing, a 2022 Dodge Ram TRX, a digital controlled gun safe and several guns including an AK-47.
She also requested “contents of the ‘gun room,’ including belts, tools, plate carriers, helmets and other compeтιтive shooting gear.” (In response to Rotten’s divorce filing, James requested his ex “take nothing” and entered a “general denial.”)
Rotten — who married James, 55, in June 2022 and welcomed a son, Bishop, in June 2023 — also asked the court to grant her “exclusive possession” of their child with James paying support.

Jesse James and Bonnie Rotten‘s tumultuous relationship has played out in the public eye since they started dating in 2021. Before his relationship with Rotten (whose real name is Alaina Hicks), James was married multiple times. He was married to Karla James for over a decade before their 2002 split. James later found love with […]
“During our marriage, James has repeatedly hit, shoved and ᴀssaulted me,” Rotten alleged in court docs asking for a protective order.
In his own request for a protective order against Rotten, James accused his ex of having “alcohol abuse issues” and alleged that she “gets violent and aggressive.” He also asked the court to suspend Alaina’s license to carry a handgun and prohibit her from removing their son from his care.
The former reality star also requested in his counterpeтιтion for divorce that his ex undergo drug and alcohol testing for the safety of their child.
James also alleged that he “recently learned” his estranged wife “has been abusing our pets.”

The West Coast Choppers founder — who was previously married to Sandra Bullock — stated in court documents that he believes Rotten (who wants her name restored to Alaina Antionette Hicks) filed an application for a protective order “in bad faith” and alleged it “contains numerous false statements designed to shift blame onto me.”
“That reality is that I am the victim of Alaina’s repeated and escalating violence and threats,” James alleged in court docs, adding they are no longer living together.
In his declaration, he claimed that after “drinking with friends” in May, Rotten came home and “was kicking the door and screaming”: “She told me, ‘I am going to get a gun and shoot you,’” he alleged. “And I truly I believed that she was going to do that so I went and hid in my closet and laid down on the floor.”
She claims he called her a “whore,” a “horrible mother,” adding he allegedly “shoved me to the ground… [and] began forcibly slamming the door into my body.”

Some celebrity couples have gone the distance, but others haven’t been as lucky. 2024 kicked off with a handful of Hollywood duos calling it quits. Fans were shocked when The Bachelorette couple Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo split after four years of marriage. Us Weekly confirmed on January 2 that the chiropractor filed for divorce […]
The custom car and motorcycle builder also claims she kicked a door into his hand: “[This] broke my wrist and dislocated my thumb,” he alleged in docs. “I fell and could not pick myself up. … My wrist needs surgery and pins which I have not done yet as it will mean that I cannot work for a period of time while I heal.”
In turn, she claimed she “did not intend for the door to hit” him: “As I bent over to see if he was ok, [he] hit me as hard as he could with his closed fist. He hit me so hard in the throat that it took my breath away,” she wrote in her filing for protective order, adding his “anger was getting worse and worse” and she left their home to protect their baby.
Rotten previously filed for divorce from James twice in December 2022, which she documented via Instagram at the time. The pair seemingly reconciled shortly after.
“I mistakenly posted my private business between my husband and I on social media,” Rotten wrote via Instagram at the time. “Yes I filed for divorce … the next day I filed a non suit to stop the divorce. I love Jesse so much and was very hurt by what I saw when I went through his phone. In his defense and the reason I am back home is that he didn’t say anything inappropriate. He didn’t talk about ‘having Sєx or meeting up with anyone.’ That’s why I am here working out the marriage that I believe in.”

In regards to her latest court filings, Rotten said she hopes the divorce proceedings will be a private matter.
