Jennifer Aniston and her Friends co-star Courteney Cox reunited for an early Thanksgiving celebration this year.

The two women have been pals for 30 years, since they began starring as roommates Rachel and Monica on the smash hit sitcom.

Over the decades they have both spoken warmly about their enduring bond, with Jennifer describing Courteney as ‘fiercely loving’ and ‘ridiculously loyal.’ 

Now Jennifer, 55, has posted a heartwarming Insta Story revealing that she and Courteney, 60, remain as close as ever.

She showed off a series of Polaroids taken from her recent ‘Friendsgiving’ party of various guests mingling with one another.

One of the snapsH๏τs prominently featured Courteney, whose face was slightly blurry but nevertheless instantly recognizable.

Jennifer, who is divorced from Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux and never had children, is known for throwing ‘Friendsgiving’ parties.

Her 2019 event was a celebrity-strewn affair that included Justin – by then her amicable ex-husband – as well as names like Sandra Bullock and Jimmy Kimmel.

Friends – starring Jennifer and Courtney with Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer – ran on NBC from 1994 to 2004. 

Over its staggeringly successful run, the show aired a total of 10 Thanksgiving episodes, many of which became fan favorites.

In one especially memorable moment on a 1998 episode, Courteney’s character Monica wears a raw turkey with sunglᴀsses over her head and dances around.

At that point Monica has just had an argument with Matthew’s character Chandler – her boyfriend – and is attempting to make him laugh to alleviate the tension.

Chandler is so entertained by Monica’s turkey dance that, amid a fit of giggles, he tells her he loves her for the first time. 

Another episode sees Matt’s character Joey wearing what he calls his ‘Thanksgiving pants’ – a set of maternity trousers actually belonging to Lisa’s character Phoebe – so that he can gorge himself at dinner as much as he likes.

All of the cast remained friends after the show ended, but Courteney and Jennifer retained a particularly close bond, to the delight of their fans. 

‘There’s absolutely no judgment in Court. You’ll never feel scolded. She’s extremely fair, ridiculously loyal and fiercely loving,’ Jennifer gushed a decade ago.

‘I’ve slept in her guest bedroom a lot. Without giving away too much of my private stuff, all I can say is she’s been there for me through thick and thin,’ she told More.

The group were struck by tragedy last October when Matthew Perry was found ᴅᴇᴀᴅ in the H๏τ tub at aged 54 of ‘acute effects of ketamine’ after openly struggling with drug addiction and alcoholism for years.

Five people have been arrested in connection with his death, including two doctors and Jasveen Sangha, an accused drug dealer known as the ‘Ketamine Queen.’ 

Matthew’s Friends co-stars, Jennifer and Courteney included, were seen somberly attending his funeral at Los Angeles’ famous Forest Lawn cemetery.
