Only Brittany and Patrick Mahomes’ son Bronze would get a sneaker named after him at age 2.
Patrick, 29, took to Instagram on Monday, November 25, to share the news that his little one now has an Adidas sneaker named after him in celebration of his 2nd birthday on Thursday, November 28. The Mahomes 2 Impact Flx Bronze Training Shoes, designed for football use, feature a ɴuᴅᴇ base with rubber soles and shimmery gold stripes.
In the clip, Patrick watched Bronze as he took a few steps in mini gold versions of the kicks, which he wore with a black Adidas jacket featuring a bronze version of the brand’s logo. “Three rings, three stripes, three generations,” he said, referencing his three Super Bowl wins as well as Bronze’s legal first name, Patrick, which is also the name of the quarterback’s father. Patrick then sat on the ground with Bronze and played football together. “The legend lives on the field. The legacy lives at home,” he continued.
The clip concluded with adorable sH๏τs of Patrick lifting Bronze into the air and cuddling up with him.
Daughter Sterling, 3, also made a cameo in the ad, rocking a pair of bronze trainers, which she paired with a black Adidas crewneck and matching joggers. Sterling completed her ensemble with a black bow in her hair. In the beginning of the clip, she rode around the set in a tricycle.
