Former Loose Women stars Sherrie Hewson and Andrea McLean shocked fans as they reunited on the show on Tuesday.

Sherrie, 74, became a regular panellist on Loose Women in 2003 and made an emotional exit from the programme in September 2016.

Andrea, 55, who anchored the daytime programme, announced her departure in 2020 after 13 years on the show.

But viewers all had the same complaint as legendary panelist Sherrie made a ‘chaotic’ comeback.

Viewers explained that they struggled to gage what Sherrie was talking about and pointed out that she even messed up when she read out the autocue.

Sherrie said that Jeff Brazier, who was announcing the compeтιтion, was in Australia – but he was actually in Austria.

Taking to X, fans wrote: ‘WTF is Sherrie Hewson going on about’,

‘She shouldn’t have been allowed on in that state but I suppose it was too late to replace her #LooseWomen’,

‘Sherrie has definitely had a few Sherrie’s before she came on the show #loosewomen’.

Meanwhile other viewers were overjoyed to see Sherrie back on their screens after so many years. 

Viewers penned: ‘it was great to see you on today xx’,

‘She’s back where she belongs. Thank goodness I took my lunch break and caught the one and only ‘SherrieHewson making a return to @loosewomen – Thanks for making me laugh fabulous Sherrie! And for bringing some fun into the Loose Studio!’

It comes after Charlene White revealed the outrageous way she found out her ex partner was cheating on her during Monday’s Loose Women.

The broadcaster, 44, left panelists Frankie Bridge, Coleen Nolan and Judi Love stunned as she shared the very specific thing she did to catch him out.

While she didn’t disclose the identify of the ex, Charlene said she found out he was cheating on her by tracking the mileage on her car after he used it.

She said: ‘When my gut sort of kicked in with a former partner of mine, it was my car that showed me what was going on.

‘He would often borrow my car and I just thought something was a bit off. Because if I was working night shifts, he’d borrow my car because his wasn’t working.

‘Because I sort something’s not right, I started to make note of the mileage on my car. I’d right it down in the note book and then the next time I’d use the car, I’d make a note of the mileage that was on the car and then I’d work out the difference.

‘And I sort of knew how far away this other person lived and I’d worked out how many miles it was from my house and then I minus the mileage.

‘And that confirmed it to me. Going to your mums house when your mum only lives two miles from down the road. There’s a difference between two miles and thirty miles. And so I worked it out from that.’
