Later, Brenda tries to buy her dream wedding dress but worries when there’s no money in her account to pay for it.

2. Ruby faces the truth

Ruby is still distrusting of Anthony’s claim that he is suffering from cancer. 

However, she is shaken to realise that her dad is telling the truth. 

Will this news change Ruby’s atтιтude towards her father as Steph tries to persuade her to make amends with Anthony for the sake of the family?

3. Sinister threats

Mack is enjoying proving to Ross how close he is to Moses and he’s also happy to have the stolen cash from the boxing match to spend on his family. 

However, Jade is continuing to make threats to Ross over the missing money, making clear it’s his responsibility to pay it back. 

Worryingly for Charity and Mack, Ross tries to convince them to take the boy away for a while.

4. Is Brenda’s life a sham?

Worried sick that he has lost everything they have, Pollard faces Brenda and reveals the truth. 

She is understandably furious, but there is worse to come when she realises that Pollard’s recent impulsive behaviour may have been down to his medication – including his marriage proposal and their wedding plans.

5. Unhappy families for Ruby

Trying to please Steph, Ruby extends an olive branch to Anthony and the family get together. 

However, it’s clear that Ruby still isn’t comfortable with the idea when she soon distances herself from the seemingly happy group.

6. Kidnapped!

After Marlon refuses to let April go into town, she accepts a lift from the seemingly friendly Jade. 

Later, Ross is shocked to get a call from Jade, revealing that she has kidnapped April. 

As Ross arrives at the rendezvous point, he soon realises that it’s at a place with a connection to his past…

7. Don’t kill me!

At the car park where April’s mum Donna fell to her death, Ross is haunted by flashbacks of his former lover. 

When Jade asks for the cash, Ross insists he doesn’t have it. 

Meanwhile, a terrified April is dangled over the edge of a car park by one of Jade’s heavies. 

As Jade continues to demand the money, Ross fears that history may be about to repeat itself in the most terrible way.

8. Caleb pleads with Ruby

As a reconciliation with Ruby looks unceasingly unlikely, Anthony thinks about leaving the village and hints to Steph that she could go with him to support him.

While Moira is on the mend, Cain is plagued with guilt over his betrayal with Ruby.
