Jax Taylor was involved in a minor car accident on Wednesday, November 20, Us Weekly can confirm.
“Jax was involved in what he believed to be a minor fender bender yesterday afternoon when his vehicle bumped into the rear end of the car in front of him while at a red light,” a rep for Taylor, 45, says in a statement shared with Us the next day. “The driver immediately stepped out of his vehicle, enraged which caused an unpleasant interaction between both parties.”
TMZ was first to report the news, claiming that Taylor bumped into another car while stopped at a red light in Los Angeles. The Valley star and the other driver subsequently exited their cars to survey any potential damage to the involved vehicles. Taylor appeared to leave the scene without exchanging insurance details with the other individual in pH๏τos obtained by the outlet.
“Jax saw no visible damage to either vehicle and no apparent injuries to either involved and therefore proceeded to leave the scene,” Taylor’s rep continues in the statement. “Since this altercation, Jax has filed a claim with his insurance company to investigate further into the details and will follow the recommendations provided by his insurance company.”

Jax Taylor is finally getting some answers after checking into an inpatient facility for mental health treatment earlier this summer. “A little over a month ago, I checked into an intensive inpatient treatment facility scared of the unknown and what I would find out about myself,” the Valley star, 45, began in an Instagram post […]
Taylor, who has not further addressed the situation, has been navigating a difficult time in his personal life. His wife, Brittany Cartwright, filed for divorce in August and requested primary custody of their 3-year-old son, Cruz.

Weeks later, Taylor voluntarily entered a treatment facility, where he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and PTSD.
“My mental health took a beating. Divorce is like a death,” Taylor exclusively told Us last month. “I was just kind of spiraling, to be honest. [Rehab] was an amazing thing. I’m so glad I did it. I got a lot of help that I needed.”
He added, “I got a lot of tools that I needed, [and] came out feeling so much better. I feel good … Like I said, it’s day by day. There’s good days and there’s bad days.”

After completing a 30-day inpatient program, Taylor returned to filming The Valley season 2 alongside estranged wife Cartwright, 35, and their other costars.
“In the 12 years I’ve been on TV, this was by far the hardest [season] I’ve ever filmed, just because of everything that’s going on,” Taylor told Us in October. “My mental health and my divorce being so public — it’s tough, you know?”
He continued, “All I care about is my son. All I care about is hanging out with him, being healthy and being in the right frame of mind. I haven’t been on my own in 10 years, so this is a new thing for me. And it’s like, it’s scary. So I’m just kind of getting used to it. I just bought a new townhouse. I’m just kind of trying to figure it all out day by day.”
