Jude Law was in high spirits as he attended the pH๏τocall for his latest series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew in London’s Trafalgar Square on Thursday.
The actor, 51, who stars as Jod Na Nawood in the series, overcame the unexpectedly chilly weather, by layering a cosy black knitted jumper over a matching zipped bomber jacket.
He teamed his stylish jumper with a pair of grey tailored trousers and sported a pair of smart black leather brogues.
In attendance were cast members Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Kyriana Kratter and Robert Timothy Smith alongside Skeleton Crew head writers & executive producers Jon Watts and Christopher Ford.
The cast members were captured against an impressive starship backdrop inspired by the Onyx Cinder, which will appear in the series, before greeting very excited fans.
When previously asked how he felt joining the Star Wars Universe Jude said: ‘Well, how to sum that up’.

‘Honestly, I was six years old when this galaxy, this world gripped me, blew my mind and I feel like I’ve been in preparation ever since, so it was a breeze. It was a total pleasure.’
Meanwhile, director Jon said: ‘It’s the story about a group of kids – about 10 years old – from a tiny little planet, who accidentally get lost in the Star Wars galaxy,’
‘And it’s the story of their journey trying to find their way home’ he told Entertainment Weekly.
Producer Dave Filoni added: ‘It’s as much of a kids’ show as Clone Wars, and I’m like, we cut people’s heads off in Clone Wars, so I’m not sure that’s the best measure.’
Jon added: ‘We liked the idea of using kids to give you a different perspective and see the galaxy through a different pair of eyes.’
Disney announced the new live-action Star Wars series featuring Jude at a major fan convention two years ago.
It is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on December 4, with its first two episodes and will consist of eight episodes in total.
But any mention of upcoming films in the beloved sci-fi franchise was conspicuously absent, as the company focused on its streaming service.

Earlier this month, a new trailer for the upcoming series dropped and fans have described it as ‘Star Wars meets Stranger Things’.
Lead writer Christopher also told StarWars.com. that viewers will not need to have seen the Star Wars films to enjoy it.
He said: ‘What’s great is you don’t have to know anything.’
The series is set around the same time as The Mandalorian – about ten years after the events of Return of the Jedi.
We are introduced to a crew of four young characters – Wim, Fern, KB and Neel.
They make a mysterious discovery on their home planet and accidentally blast off at warp speed to a strange and dangerous galaxy.
Here they meet Jod, a ‘force user’, played by Jude, who once starred as the young Dumbledore in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
