Elizabeth Olsen channels her Marvel character Wanda as she puts on a leggy display in red leather mini dress and matching тιԍнтs

Elizabeth Olsen channelled her Marvel character Wanda Maximoff, also known as The Scarlet Witch, on Wednesday.

The actress, 35, looked nothing short of stunning as she stepped out in a red leather mini dress at Flaunt Magazine’s party in Los Angeles.

The Godzilla star donned a sculpted red dress for the event which highlighted her svelte figure.

Elizabeth drew attention to her long legs with a pair of matching red тιԍнтs and maroon slingback heels.

She completed her look with red lipstick and styled her hair loose around her shoulders.

Elizabeth played Wanda Maximoff, a powerful sorceress with the ability to harness energy and even change time, in five Marvel films but was killed off at the end of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

The WandaVision star’s outing comes after she revealed show would love Marvel Studios to ‘to leave a window open’ for the return of her seemingly ᴅᴇᴀᴅ character.

The Love & Death actress made the confession during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live in September.

She was asked by Jimmy, 56, about the status of her character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, saying: ‘Wanda is as far as we learned in the last Dr. Strange movie ᴅᴇᴀᴅ, right?’

‘I ᴀssume as much,’ Elizabeth admitted.

Jimmy reminded Elizabeth that Wanda was crushed by rocks at the end of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

‘Yeah. And there was a red light,’ Elizabeth said. ‘Of explosive energy.’

Jimmy replied: ‘But nobody ever said to you that’s it, it’s the character, it’s ᴅᴇᴀᴅ. That’s the end of the run.’

Before Elizabeth admitted: ‘I think I’m ᴅᴇᴀᴅ’.

Jimmy suggested they could leave a window open in case she’s not ᴅᴇᴀᴅ.

‘I would beg to leave a window open,’ Elizabeth said.

Elizabeth said she has a lot of fun making the Marvel movies and confirmed she didn’t want Wanda to be ᴅᴇᴀᴅ but noted that the writers would have to think of a particularly clever way to bring her back.

But Jimmy reᴀssured the star that if anyone could figure out how to make a surprise comeback it would be Elizabeth’s character.

He said: ‘If any character could figure that out it seems like Wanda would be the character to figure that out.’

‘I think so, too. We need to find the smartest writers to figure out how to make this all make sense,’ Elizabeth agreed.

‘I don’t think anybody is going to have a problem with it if you’re alive,’ Jimmy said as the studio audience cheered along.

Elizabeth last portrayed Wanda Maximoff (aka Scarlet Witch) in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022).

Last year, she told Variety she doesn’t miss playing the character.

She confessed: ‘No, I don’t. I think it’s been almost 10 years of playing her. And I’ve loved it,’ she said.

‘And I think the reason why I am not calling (Marvel president) Kevin Feige every day with ideas is because I’m really proud of what we were able to do,’ added Olsen.

The Wind River star also cautioned future Marvel stars against signing multi-picture deals. ‘I say, just give them one. I think that way you have more control,’ she said on the Happy Sad Confused podcast.

‘It took me away from the physical ability to do certain jobs that I thought were more aligned with the things I enjoyed as an audience member,’ she explained.

She continued: ‘And this is me being the most honest. I started to feel frustrated. I had this job security but I was losing these pieces that I felt were more part of my being.

‘And the further I got away from that, the less I became considered for it.’

She revealed that one such role she had to turn down was in Yorgos Lanthimos’ 2015 Oscar-nominated film The Lobster.

Despite being previously tied to the Marvel universe, Elizabeth’s repertoire has expanded since her character was killed off and back in May she starred in the A24 romantic comedy Eternity with Miles Teller and Callum Turner, from director David Freyne as well as Netflix hit His Three Daughters alongside Natasha Lyonne.
