Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards has flatly denied the allegation that she tried to ‘hook up with’ Kevin Costner in Aspen.

Richards, 55, split from her husband Mauricio Umansky last year and has since been at the center of a swirl of rumors that she has been conducting a romance with country songstress Morgan Wade.

However, on the premiere of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills last Sunday, Sutton Stracke claimed Richards attempted to woo an even bigger name: Costner.

Stracke wouldn’t reveal exactly when the supposed encounter took place, but she said during the after-show segment that Richards and Costner were both in Aspen. 

Both Costner and Richards were spotted separately in Aspen in December 2023, just days apart, though it is unclear when exactly they met.

Now, however, Richards has staunchly repudiated Stracke’s story, saying: ‘That is definitely not true. I think she was just joking,’ via TMZ.

She explained that she and Costner both own property in Aspen but have only met on two occasions and spoke ‘for maybe one minute. That’s the max.’

Asked to rate Costner’s attractiveness, Richards acknowledged that the Yellowstone star is ‘obviously a good-looking man. The story’s just not true. It’s just not.’

Bravo aired the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14 premiere on Sunday, with Richards sharing how her daughters responded to her ‘evolving Sєxuality’.

While Richards would not even Wade’s name on camera, Stracke, 53, offered up her own wild story about her co-star’s alleged love life.

‘Kyle and I had this conversation. She was in Aspen and Kevin Costner was there and she was like… no, she was like trying to hook up with Kevin Costner,’ Stracke said on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: After Show.

Her co-star Garcelle Beauvais insisted, ‘But you want Kevin Costner,’ as Stracke admitted, ‘I know!’

‘So this is what I’m saying. I don’t think… that Morgan is the end-all be-all, because she really was,’ trying to hook up with Costner, Stracke said.

Stracke also joked, ‘Hang on, it’s not all about Morgan. There’s some Kevin Costner mixed in there.’

Richards has yet to publicly address Stracke’s story.

The reality star’s divorce from Mauricio Umansky in 2023 lead to even more headlines with her rumored romance with Morgan Wade.

Richards has still never publicly mentioned any sort of romantic relationship with Wade as of now, though there have been rumors swirling for some time. 

Back in August 2023, Richards was seen kissing Wade and blowing bubbles in a bath with the country singer in a music video for her song Fall In Love With Me. 

Richards admitted on the Season 14 premiere that she is not with Wade, adding, ‘The tabloids created an enormous amount of pressure,’ as Beauvais added ‘Yeah, but the music video wasn’t helpful either.’

‘It’s not my place to talk about other people. I’m still figuring things out myself, I am,’ adding in confession she has never questioned her Sєxuality in her life, ever.

‘But I think all of the, you know, crazy speculation actually did make me think twice,’ Richards added.

Costner has been rumored to be dating singer Jewel, though he admitted on The Howard Stern Show this summer that they’re only friends.
