Pete Davidson was seen for the first time since Maria Georgas hit back at claims they were dating and he was back in rehab. 

On Tuesday, the Bachelor veteran, 30, shut down speculation that the Saturday Night Live star, 31, was seeking professional treatment as she revealed he ‘has been sober for months.’ 

She also clarified that they ‘never dated’ and that she’s ‘just friends with his sister’ Casey Davidson.

Pete brushed off the drama as he attended the Brooklyn Nets game in NYC on Tuesday with mom Amy Waters Davidson.

The comic looked in great spirits as he embraced his mother while clad in a brown sweater, jeans and a woolen hat.

This comes after Georgias said: ‘Never dated Pete. False rumor,’ in a post on her Instagram Story. ‘I’m friends with his sister. Case closed.’

She continued: ‘Can’t believe this s**t it’s very insulting to his recovery and my mental health,” she wrote. He’s literally home.’ 

Her post comes after The Sun reported that Davidson allegedly entered a rehab  facility in Florida.

‘He’s in pretty bad shape this time around,’ an insider told the outlet. ‘He’s not in a good place.’ 

The source also claimed that the actor’s ‘treatment check-in was very recent’ as he made an appearance on SNL on November 2 and hung out with friend Machine Gun Kelly just last week.

Davidson was also seen at a restaurant in Kingsport, Tennessee earlier this month. 

The source also claimed that Davidson ended his short-lived ‘fling with Maria just before he checked in’ to rehab. 

The pair had only allegedly been dating ‘for a couple of months’ before calling it quits.

DailyMail.com reached out to the comedian’s reps for comments, but have not heard back, at this time.

In July, Davidson reportedly checked into a wellness facility to seek mental health treatment. 

The news came after DailyMail.com exclusively revealed the Bupkis star admitted he was still using marijuana after quitting both cocaine and ketamine. 

Before his rehab stint over the summer, Davidson completed more than 200 live stand-up comedy shows across the country.

At the time, an insider told People that mental health has ‘always been a priority’ for him.

A separate source also told the outlet: ‘Pete will often check himself into rehab to work on these issues. His friends and family have been supportive during this time.’

Around the same time last year, Davidson also went to a rehabilitation center to treat issues related to his post-traumatic stress disorder and borderline personality disorder diagnoses, both of which he previously opened up about in the past.

He co-wrote the comedic drama alongside director-producer Judd Apatow and comedian Dave Sirus, basing the story partly on his own past.

In the film, which was directed by Judd Apatow, Davidson stars as Scott Carlin, a young man who spends his 20s smoking and drinking to cope with losing his father.

The story mirrors Davidson’s own life with how he decides to pursue a career in comedy.
