Hollywood favorite Katie Holmes was caught during an awkward moment while in New York City this week.
The Batman Begins actress was walking down a street in midtown with soaking wet hair.
The 45-year-old actress also modeled an odd outfit that consisted of a blue-and-white striped men’s ʙuттon-down shirt over a pale gray T-shirt.
Rounding out her look was a dark green satin skirt that fell below her knees as she went bare-legged.
Royal blue velvet flat shoes and a beige handbag were her accessories as she also carried a white drawstring bag with a red handle.
This comes after her 18 year wedding anniversary with ex-husband Tom Cruise fell on November 18.

Tom and Katie wed in 2006 in Italy with guests like Jennifer Lopez, Brooke Shields and Jim Carrey looking on.
The two already had daughter Suri Cruise, now 18, who was a part of the wedding.
They split suddenly in 2012 and do not seem to have reunited since; neither one talks about the other in interviews.

Top Gun star Tom does not appear to have spent time with Suri in over a decade and their estrangement seems especially bad after the teen decided to drop his last name in favor of Katie’s middle name, Noelle.
Cruise is, however, close to the two children he adopted with ex-wife Nicole Kidman; they are Connor and Isabella.
Last month Holmes was supported amid her Broadway comeback by her daughter Suri.
Suri was spotted back in New York after starting her first semester at the private Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in the summer.
DailyMail.com reported the teen has been spotted in the city days after the actress started her run in a star-studded revival of Our Town.
The acclaimed 1938 play by Thornton Wilder is being revived on Broadway with a cast also featuring actors Jim Parsons and Zoey Deutch.
An insider recently told the Mail about Suri’s early days at college: ‘She is a smart girl, and she is turning into a very intelligent mature young woman.

‘She has a very close group of loyal friends, and she knows exactly where she comes from.’
Another source said Suri’s mother was ‘overwhelmed’ at the prospect of Suri being away from home.
They added: ‘Katie takes great pride in her but is also extremely over-protective.’
Tom Cruise is paying Suri’s annual university tuition on $65,000.
A source previously told DailyMail.com: ‘Tom is indeed paying for Suri’s tuition – he has always paid for her schooling and would never stop as he is a stand-up guy.
‘He has never hesitated paying his daughter’s child support and expenses. He does not go back on his word. He is fulfilling his obligation.’
The Mail highlighted how Tom and Katie’s divorce deal included a clause he should cover all of Suri’s schooling, with divorce documents revealing the 62-year-old star pays expenses for the teen including ‘medical, dental, insurance, education, college and other extracurricular costs’.
Meanwhile, Holmes – who sH๏τ to fame on teen show Dawson’s Creek in the 1990s – is hoping to launch a beauty line.
The actress has branched out into fashion recently – launching her own collection with French brand APC – and Katie has now admitted she dreams of becoming the latest celebrity to produce her own cosmetics.
Katie filed for divorce from Tom, and while the Top Gun was believed to have ‘not seen’ the divorce coming, sources insisted the actress did tell him; seen in 2005
In June 2012, it was reported that Katie decided to file for divorce in New York because it could potentially give her a better chance of gaining sole custody of their daughter Suri; seen in 2018
When asked about her future plans, she told the Sunday Times newspaper: ‘Absolutely, I would love to [launch a beauty line].’
Katie also opened up about her love of fashion, revealing she finds inspiration in everyday life.
The Hollywood star told the publication: ‘I really look at other people that have an innate sense of style. And I’m like, ‘Oh – that with that! OK, that’s cool.’ I’m always looking for inspiration.
‘I like to mix and match classic pieces. I like vintage a lot. Living in New York City I have to have things that are practical and comfortable. The city influences my style.
‘Usually I’m in ballet flats, sneakers, baggy jeans and a T-shirt. I like putting it together in a way that doesn’t look like you put it together.’

Katie’s collection for APC has been inspired by her own experiences, too. She explained: ‘Our T-shirts are pretty long, because it drives me crazy when you move and a T-shirt rides up.
‘I remember the 90s as being about looking really simple and very natural. That’s what I wanted this collection to embody – pieces that are cool but not recognizable and can fit into your existing wardrobe seamlessly.’
To bring the collection to life, Katie dived into the brand’s archives in Paris to bring some classic 2000s style to a new generation.
Holmes is also planning a new career as an author.
The actress has branched out into writing and directing movies in recent years but she is now hoping to put pen to paper to work on fiction novels.
She told The Sunday Times newspaper: ‘I’d like to continue to write and direct my own films. Maybe write a few books – fiction.’
