Love Is Blind #1 alum Giannina Milady Gibelli and The Bachelorette #14 alum Blake Horstmann announced their engagement on Wednesday – nearly eight months after welcoming their first child, son Heath Orion Horstmann.

The reality TV couple shared a joint Instagram announcement tagging the jewelry company Brilliant Earth with the caption: ‘So I can kiss you anytime I want.’

The 35-year-old Colorado DJ popped the question to the Venezuelan 31-year-old with a 4.87-carat oval lab-grown diamond ring featuring an 18-karat yellow gold ‘Luxe Versailles’ shank, but she said yes before the box was open.

‘When she did finally see [the ring], she was breathless and so happy, so that felt really amazing,’ Blake gushed to People.

‘We are over the moon and we can’t wait to be married in front of our loved ones.’

Giannina added that their ‘love story has been everything I’ve always dreamt it would be and more.’

‘As soon as I met Blake, I knew he was my soulmate and I know the universe was always leading me to him,’ Gibelli continued.

‘Being together forever and creating our family is literally the joy of my life.’

They received congratulatory comments from The Bachelor #19 alum Ashley Iaconetti Haibon, The Bachelorette #17 alum Justin Glaze, The Bachelor #25 alums Serena Pitt and Abigail Heringer, Love Is Blind #1 alum Jessica Batten McGrath, and Bachelor in Paradise bartender Wells Adams.

And while Giannina did not exactly go ring shopping with Blake, she told E! News in July 2022 that she was already ‘not uncomfortable talking about being engaged to him or just spending the rest of my life with them.’

The bride and groom-to-be – who moved in together in November 2022 – just returned from a romantic babymoon trip to Paris.

In June, Horstmann told the Almost Famous Podcast that they were taking their time to get betrothed, because they wanted to ‘make Heath a priority.’

‘It was like, now, she’s not my girlfriend or whatever. She’s the mother of my child,’ the I Had Some Help remixer explained.

‘So, I look at her through a different lens now, and that happened pretty quick, too.’
