EastEnders fans are convinced that Phil Mitchell with leave Albert Square this Christmas after spotting one worrying sign.
The Walford favourite has built up a loyal fan base over the years, who are now pleading with producers not to get rid of him.
After a series of less than fortunate events, Phil is becoming increasingly lonely and sad, leaving fans worried that he might do something drastic.
Last week, Phil handed over Peggy’s nightclub to newbie Nicola Mitchell, played by Laura Doddington, who is the estranged spouse of his cousin Teddy Mitchell.
Teddy was clearly irritated about the deal and confronted Phil over it on Monday’s episode.
‘Happy, selling Peggy’s behind my back?’ Teddy asked Phil, who snapped back: ‘My business, I do what I want.’
