Kristin Cavallari had a major falling out with former BFF Kelly Henderson before her messy divorce from Jay Cutler, but the gal pals were once inseparable.

Season 3 of the reality series Very Cavallari documented their friendship’s downfall, as they argued over false rumors that Henderson had an affair with Cavallari’s then-husband, Cutler. Though the infidelity never occurred, Cavallari slammed Henderson for not publicly denying it and accused her of using Cutler for her “personal gain.”

“It wasn’t the actual accusations of them having an affair that made me upset, it was how Kelly went about it,” she said during the show’s season 3 premiere in January 2020. Us Weekly confirmed that Cavallari and Cutler filed for divorce that April, and they finalized their split in June 2022.

Henderson, for her part, accused Cavallari of using the affair drama as a storyline for season 3 of Very Cavallari. “I probably didn’t reach out either because I was getting so blown up by tabloids because of what she put in people’s minds about an affair that was not ever true, nor did it happen,” she said during an October 2020 interview on The Domenick Nati Show. “So yeah, I wasn’t very happy with her. It didn’t feel like the right thing for me to reach out. I was not in a place to do that.”
