The presenter then went on to explain that the heat-trapping outfit ensured she remained very warm, but slightly ‘squelchy’.
She said: ‘And then of course the minute you start getting warm, your own sweat or glow, adds to that. So, I was in a very squelchy… but warm last night. And probably the only one that was dressed for the weather’.
Jason then cheekily quizzed her on what she did about farting while in latex trousers, causing a scandalised Amanda to gasp: ‘How dare you! I held them in all night obviously, I was in polite company.’
Her apologetic co-host was quick to add: ‘Okay got you, it was just a question’.
But Amanda then candidly confessed: ‘Let’s just say it was a mess when I got home!’ causing the pair to break into laughter.

There has been speculation that Amanda – who filled in for Holly during her maternity leave and appeared on the show from 2014 to 2019 – might take over.
However, she took to her Heart Breakfast show on Thursday to shut down the speculation after being probed about the rumours by Ashley Roberts.
Ashley asked: ‘I saw this morning some rumours stirring about you replacing Cat Deeley on This Morning. What’s the tea?’
Amanda replied: ‘Oh, well, do you know what? I’m really glad you’ve asked me this. First of all, I absolutely love Cat Deeley.
‘She’s super successful, I’ve always admired her, she’s brilliant, and she’s a real laugh. I hate seeing headlines that say, “I’m taking over from Cat Deeley” when I think she’s doing such a good job on This Morning.’
The mother-of-two added that she believes Cat is ‘going nowhere’ as she clarified: ‘Complete rumours! I’m already on the biggest morning show in the country, and that is Heart Breakfast, thanks to our lovely listeners.
‘So, I don’t know where it’s come from it is categorically not true.’
