Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly revealed a terrifying encounter they had on set on Monday.
The Geordie duo shared a horrifying clip to Instagram, showing off an eight-legged intruder to their 5million followers.
In the clip, Dec can be seen shuffling behind a giant huntsman spider as it crawls across their presenting booth.
Dressed in a pair of black sweatpants and trainers, the presenter chases the spider away before Ant shouts: ‘Look at it!’.
He then bends down and points at the huge creepy crawly.

Despite being faced with the scary intruder the duo still managed to poke fun at contestant GK Barry who took part in her first Bushtucker trial on Monday
The Geordie duo shared a horrifying clip to Instagram, showing off a giant huntsman spider that they chased around their presenting booth
Despite being faced with the large spider, which is known to bite people, the duo managed to make light of the situation.
Referencing a gaffe made by contestant GK Barry on Monday’s episode, Dec exclaimed: ‘It’s a horseman, it’s a horseman’ before the pair both commented on how big it was.
Ant then turned to the camera and said: ‘Look at this. It’s like doing a trial every time we’re in the studio’ while Dec warned him not to make the spider jump.
The duo captioned their post: ‘A rare horseman spider on set’.
The joke was a reference to a mistake the podcast host made on Monday night’s episode of the reality show.
Grace left hosts Ant and Dec in sтιтches in the episode after she mistakenly called the large Huntsman spider she had spotted, a horseman spider.
The Huntsman spider gets its name because it hunts its prey rather than uses a web to catch other insects.
The duo joked that the spider was called a horseman rather than a huntsman spider in reference to Grace’s confusion
The comment was a reference to a gaffe made by Grace during a Bush Tucker trial but it seemed to go largely over the heads of the presenters’s fans who took to the comments to correct the pair
While they are not typically dangerous, female spiders have been known to bite humans to protect her eggs.

But the joke seemed to largely go over fans heads as they took to the comments to try and correct the presenters, writing: ‘Is there a spider called horseman’ and ‘Isn’t it a huntsman not horseman!!’ and’I thought it was called a huntsman. Didn’t know if it was me calling it a different name when they said horseman’
During the episode the social media personality took part in her first Bushtucker Trial after sparking fears she would quit the show.
The terrified star broke down in tears after the results of the first public vote were revealed at the close of Sunday’s opening episode.
But Grace shocked viewers on Monday after winning an impressive nine out of ten stars in her first trial – Vile Volcano.
Whilst walking to the Trial clearing, GK was feeling positive after a pep talk from her campmates, telling the camera: ‘The camp have gee’d me up, I’m going in really confident, I feel like the world is my oyster!’
Explaining the Bushtucker Trial, Ant & Dec revealed that deep inside the volcano were a series of caves and tunnels which she had to search in to find hidden stars.

Faced with plenty of creepy crawlies, Grace made her way through with plenty of screaming and swearing. So much so, Ant and Dec declared: ‘We’re going to need to bleep a lot of this!’
She had just 10 minutes to find all 10 stars, and of course she was joined by plenty of jungle critters.
As the klaxon sounded, GK Barry started her challenge and Ant and Dec were on hand to offer plenty of motivational quotes such as: ‘What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger.’
Faced with snakes, spiders, rats and plenty of creepy crawlies, GK made her way through with plenty of screaming and swearing. So much so, Ant and Dec declared: ‘We’re going to need to bleep a lot of this!’
As GK pᴀssed the spider’s cave, it appeared she had taken a visitor with her as a huge spider appeared on the top of her helmet, much to Ant and Dec’s terror as they watched on.
