May be an image of the Parthenon
Hephaisteion (“Theseion”), seen from across the Agora, ca. 460–415 BC.
It is a pavilion temple, Doric style, hexastyle, perhaps built by the architect Iktinos.
Athene Arkhegetiin portti.
It is said to have been the creator of the temples in Sounio, Nemesis in Ramnuda and Aris in Acharnes.
On each side it has 13 columns in length and 6 in width. Its nave is divided into pronaos, main nave and back building.

The nave was designed and probably started to be built as early as 450 BC, certainly before the Parthenon.
