1. Tom manipulates Amelia

Tom tries to persuade Nicola to trust him, and she is left furious when Jimmy ends up taking his nephew’s side. 

Needing Amelia’s help, Tom charms his girlfriend by pretending to say a prayer in the church and dropping a hint that he might want them to get engaged. 

Amelia agrees to talk to Nicola about Tom, but when they arrive at the café, Nicola is unconvinced by their show of unity.

2. Sam’s frustration

Tom mentions the idea of moving away together to Amelia. 

Sam overhears the conversation and is upset that Tom may escape justice and is worried about him isolating another victim in Amelia.

3. Tom turns burglar

Belle’s upset to hear about the lack of progress in the investigation into Tom. Later, Tom slips in through the back door while Belle is upstairs having a bath. 

Creeping around, he steals one of Belle’s tops before leaving. Tom then taunts Belle to wind her up when they bump into each other.

4. Liam declares his love

Ella tells Manpreet that she is planning to leave the village. 

When Liam learns the news, he sneaks into the pub back room for a chat with Chas about Ella’s impending departure.

5. Ella gets suspicious

Manpreet comes up with a plan to keep Ella in the village, and Liam is crestfallen to discover the two women are going to move in together.

Later, Chas puts it to Liam that they should slow down their relationship a little, but eventually admits that she loves Liam too. 

But as Ella walks in on their heated conversation, will she realise what’s going on?

6. Tom exposed?

Belle is left reeling when she spots Amelia wearing what seems to be her missing top. 

Amelia is shocked by the accusation and Belle gets flustered and leaves in a panic. Later, Tom is furious and rails at a confused Amelia for what she said to Belle.

But as he marches her out of the house, it’s Tom who’s in for a shock as DI Foy arrives to take him in for more questioning. 

Soon, it seems justice may finally be served on twisted Tom.

7. Ruby’s second chance

Now the dust has settled after Steph’s arrival, Ruby tries to make things right with her daughter. 

She meets up with Steph and begs her for another chance.

8. Brenda’s joy

Pollard throws a party to celebrate his engagement to Brenda. 

He gives a heartfelt speech and announces that he has booked a honeymoon cruise for the pair. 

Brenda is overjoyed, but as the party gets into full swing, Pollard’s generosity has piqued someone’s interest.

9. Pollard’s confession

Rodney is curious about Pollard splashing the cash, but his friend tries to play things down. 

Suddenly, a panic overcomes Pollard, and he leaves the party, leading a suspicious Leyla to follow behind. 

Back at Pollard’s, Leyla is left reeling when Eric makes a big confession.

10. Anthony confides in Steph

Anthony reveals to a stunned Steph that he has cancer. Saddened by the news, Steph pledges to help her granddad.
