This Morning fans all made the same joke about Lily Collins’ very glamorous outfit as she joined Cat Deeley and Ben Shepard on the ITV sofa on Monday morning.

Emily In Paris star Lily, 35, and Money Heist actor Alvaro Morte, 49, appeared on the latest instalment of the chat show to speak about their West End debut.

Viewers rushed to social media to make the same jokes about Lily’s glitzy ensemble, which they deemed somewhat over the top, especially compared to Cat’s outfit of a cosy jumper and jeans. 

One asked: ‘Is Lily Collins on her way to or from some sort of party?’.

Another wrote: ‘Cat looks like she’s going for a hike in the alps and Lily looks like she is going on the red carpet, get the poor lᴀss a coat.’

‘Lily, you’ll catch your death,’ someone else joked.

When Cat asked if there are any plans to bring Emily In Paris to London, Lily said: ‘I feel like I have become the voice of the one pitching this because I would love Emily to come to London’

Others said the actress looked ‘stunning’ and questioned if she was heading off to film an episode of The Graham Norton Show.

Lily wore an £880 Vivienne Westwood corset, paired with a £836 gathered skirt also by the British designer – bringing the total price of her red-carpet-ready look to £1,716. 

In comparison, Alvaro looked much more laid back next to the actress in his black jeans, white T-shirt and black leather jacket.

The pair are spending 12 weeks starring in Bess Wohl’s West End show Barcelona at London’s Duke of York’s Theatre.

Giving a rundown of the play to hosts Cat and Ben, Lily said: ‘A young woman goes to Barcelona on a bachelorette weekend and meets a Spanish man at a bar and they go home together.

‘It takes you on a wild ride with things you are not expecting. Even things that we were not expecting that we are finding out every night on stage to.’

Alvaro added: ‘It’s a while that they spend together in his apartment and you see how they discover things about each other and also about themselves.’

Performances began on October 21 and will run until January 11, 2025, with tickets currently available for £20 to £195. 

Speaking for all Emily In Paris fans, Cat asked if there are any plans to bring the show to London, to which Lily excitedly replied: ‘I feel like I have become the voice of the one pitching this because I would love Emily to come to London. I’m like “Just take the Eurostar!”.

‘There’s so many amazing monuments and things that she should do here.’
