Barry entered the jungle in the first episode of the new series on Sunday night

Someone else joked: ‘Has anyone ever seen Barry McGuigan and Mrs Brown from Mrs Brown’s Boys in the same room?’

Sharing a pH๏τo of Mrs Brown’s character, another user penned: ‘Good luck Barry, loved you in Mrs Brown’s Boys.’
Barry entered the Australian jungle alongside stars like Coleen Rooney, Strictly pro Oti Mabuse and McFly’s Danny Jones.
Introducing the former world championship boxer at the star of the show, presenter Declan Donnelly joked that he either had to do I’m A Celeb or ‘fight a YouTuber on Netflix’.
Barry was selected by camp leaders singer Tulisa Contostavlos and Corrie star Alan Halsall to do the first trial, alongside Danny Jones.
The unlucky pair had to be locked inside rectangular chambers as snakes crawled all over them.
Barry struggled to open the padlocks to get stars and later admitted to Danny he ‘couldn’t help him’.
Viewers shared their revelation about Barry’s doppelganger on X, formerly Twitter
He confessed that he was ‘useless’ as he failed to get any of the locks open, while Danny managed to win five stars for the camp.
Barry recently revealed ITV producers hauled him in for a discussion on how ‘best not to offend people’ on I’m A Celebrity.
The former featherweight тιтle-winner shared his fears about saying something politically incorrect during his stint on the show, which is watched by up to 12 million people.
Barry confessed: ‘I’ve just had a number of discussions this morning with the production people so that you do your best not to offend people.
‘So if I offend anybody, or if I say something wrong, I will ask them how they would like me to address them. And therefore I want to get it right, and I want to hear it from them.
‘So I’ll do my best to do that. But you know, am I going to put my hand on my heart and say I’ll go through potentially three weeks without saying something politically incorrect?
‘No, I can’t say I’ll do that. But of course, that’s always a possibility.’
The revelation that ITV has been coaching contestants on political correctness comes after producers said they were pushing for a ‘positive’ year on I’m A Celebrity.
Barry is aformer featherweight тιтle-winner from Northern Ireland
He was picked to do the first trial alongside McFly’s Danny Jones
He shared his concerns about being ‘cancelled’ – a phenomenon when an individual is boycotted for being thought to have said something unacceptable.
The sportsman, who hails from Northern Ireland, said: ‘Political correctness changes every day.
‘And how you address people, how you address Sєxes and race and all of that, you have to be politically correct, especially when potentially 10 to 12 million people watch it.
‘So you know, it’s just trying to hurt people’s feelings. I don’t want to do that. So you do your level best to [make sure] that you’re politically correct.’
