Jennifer Lopez doesn’t need an engagement ring on her hand, thanks to her new blinged-out manicure.

When the “This Is Me… Now” singer performed at the Elie Saab fashion show on Thursday, November 14, she shimmered from head to toe, complete with Swarovski crystal–encrusted nails.

The bling came courtesy of celebrity nail artist Tom Bachik, who also counts Selena Gomez and Camila Cabello among his many A-list clients. Bachik took to his Instagram on Friday, November 15, to break down how Lopez, 55, got the bedazzled look step by step.

Using his Tweezerman x Tom Bachik tool for “precision and perfection,” Bachik added Aprés Nail Coffin Gel extensions in Clear to create lengthy talons. Then he went in with Kokoist Platinum Filler Base before swiping Mia Secret Chrome Silver Gel paint for a sleek metallic finish.

He topped it off with a touch of his own Chrome Powder (coming soon!), then carefully added no shortage of shine with dozens of Swarovski crystals in multiple shapes and sizes. Then he sprinkled on Mia Secret Metallic Flakes for “the perfect pop” of glamour.

The bejeweled statement perfectly mirrored Lopez’s ensembles (yes, plural), as she turned heads in a similarly glitter-flecked plunging turquoise gown festooned with ostrich plumes. Then she switched into a Cher-inspired ɴuᴅᴇ-colored confection that highlighted her world-famous curves.

In true J. Lo fashion, she posted an Instagram backstage while clutching her signature crystal-covered cup, which gave her followers a flash of the ice on both hands: a dazzling bracelet and not one but two matching cocktail rings.

But don’t be fooled by the rocks that she’s got; they weren’t that kind of diamond, although they didn’t come up short on sparkle.
