Teddi Mellencamp had an extremely awkward run-in with her horse trainer lover’s former wife on Thursday amid their affair drama.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 43, announced her split from Edwin Arroyave after 13 years of marriage earlier this month. The former couple share three children.

After DailyMail.com revealed that Mellencamp and Simon Schröeder had an affair and that his then-wife Karli Postel had filed to nullify their marriage because he was legally married to someone else – both Postel and Mellencamp were in the stands at the Las Vegas National Horse Show at South Point Arena and Equestrian Center.

Mellencamp was at the event supporting her daughter, Slate, who was competing, while Postel also participated in the compeтιтion.

The reality star looked strained while sitting in the stands while Postel had a face of thunder as she watched the riders from just yards away.

The pair did not publicly interact but the tension was clearly visible on their faces while Postel was still wearing a ring on her wedding finger – despite her union with Schroder being nullified in February.

On November 12 Postel won the $25,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby with her horse, Full Moon Fever.

This comes after Simon’s bigamy was revealed – which caused a judge to nullify his marriage to Postel.

Documents filed in Ventura Superior Court in January 2023 by Karli reveal she cited bigamy as the reason to declare their marriage legally invalid.

They wed on November 18 2019.

An Amended Peтιтion for Nullity of Marriage filed on November 6 2023 saw Postel tick the ‘prior existing marriage or domestic partnership’ box as her reason for requesting nullification.

The judgment to nullify their marriage was filed February 29 2024. It is not known who Simon was married to.

Mellencamp and Schröeder were conducting their affair after his and Postel’s marriage was nullified – but as Postel was pregnant with their second child, which arrived around May 2024.

This comes after an insider claimed to DailyMail.com that the the reality star and Schröeder were fooling around behind their spouses’ backs before she filed for divorce.

Making matters worse, the pair were together in Florida while Schröeder’s pregnant partner Karli was giving birth to their second child in California.

‘Karli thought it was suspicious that her husband was in Florida when she was giving birth,’ the source told DailyMail.com.

‘When Simon returned, Karli found text messages on Simon’s phone that exposed the affair.’

‘She confronted Simon and Teddi about it and they confessed. Teddi promised it would not happen again.’

‘Karli didn’t tell Edwin when she found out. She was willing to give Simon another chance and stayed with him. But last month, Karli found proof that the affair was ongoing and that it had become “emotional.”

‘Simon had a history of cheating and Karli was tired of being connected to him. Edwin only learned of the affair late last month when Karli told him.’

The source claims that Teddi decided to file for divorce once she got caught in the affair.

‘She filed for divorce from Edwin so that he did not have the chance to file and get her for adultery. It has been alleged that the marriage ended because Edwin cheated on Teddi, but it is actually the other way around.

Now, it looks like Schröeder is trying to get back in Postel’s good graces, as he took to his Instagram Stories on Thursday evening to post a picture of the two of them smiling next to each other.

‘I love you Karli,’ the horse trainer wrote in white cursive text over the pH๏τo.

He even went so far as to tag Postel in the story.

And, just a few hours later, the picture had already made its way to the Bravo Real Housewives Reddit page, where many fans couldn’t believe their eyes.

‘If men have one thing it’s pure audacity,’ one person wrote.

Schröeder, who specializes in horse jumping, had been training Mellencamp’s horse Totally, nicknamed ‘Toad.’

On May 29, his wife congratulated her husband and Mellencamp on Toad’s success at a horse show.

‘So beyond proud of Simon’s hard work with Teddi Mellencamp’s Totally!’ Postel wrote on Instagram.

‘Beautiful consistent rounds at the Devon Horseshow in the High Performance… a huge feat from where Simon & Toad’s journey began,’ she continued, before adding: ‘Can’t wait to watch Teddi take on the weekend.’

Mellencamp ‘liked’ the post and still follows Postel on Instagram. Postel does not follow her back.

Mellencamp praised Schröeder on May 31, around the time his wife gave birth, as he rode Toad at the Devon Horse Show.

‘I am Totally obsessed with you Toady baby boy,’ she wrote alongside a video of her horse in the compeтιтion. ‘Everything I have asked of you, you have done. Thank you for making my first time in the @devon1896 ring in 25 years a dream.

‘I feel so blessed you are mine. Thank you to @simonschroeder85 for the excellent rides on him earlier this week and to @schroedersporthorses @windsong2121 for all you have done to make this show happen.’

Just 12 weeks ago she praised Schröeder and Schroeder Sporthorses – a ‘Hunter, Jumper and Equitation training, sales and investments show barn’ – again and thanked him for the ‘stunning rides.’

‘Thank you @Schroedersporthorses… for always being team Toad,’ she wrote. ‘I’m forever grateful to you for selling me the most fun horse I have ever ridden.’

DailyMail.com contacted a rep for Mellencamp but they had no comment.

Postel also said no comment, while Schröeder refused to comment when contacted.

Mellencamp and Arroyave are reportedly feuding over spousal support amid their contentious divorce battle.

On Friday, Arroyave filed his response to Mellencamp’s divorce peтιтion and is reportedly pushing back on her custody and spousal support requests.

Mellencamp had requested primary custody of their three children — Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, 4 — with ‘reasonable and frequent visitation’ for Arroyave in her divorce filing, which she filed last week and announced a day later on November 2.

According to legal documents, Arroyave is contesting and asking for joint physical and legal custody of their minor children.

Her soon-to-be ex-husband also revealed in the latest court documents that they have a prenuptial agreement he wants the court to enforce.

This comes after it was revealed that the now-estranged pair were in couples therapy ‘for years’ before their separation

He opposed her request for him to provide her with spousal support and to terminate the court’s ability to award Arroyave spousal support.

In his peтιтion, Arroyave requested that Mellencamp should be the one to pay him spousal support and asked that the court terminate their ability to award her with any support.

Citing their prenup, he stated in his response: ‘The parties’ Premarital Agreement sets forth the terms regarding the amount and duration of spousal support to be paid.’

Arroyave also checked both their names to pay their attorney’s fees after Mellencamp had requested that Arroyave be solely responsible for all of the legal costs.

And contrary to the reality star’s filing, Arroyave listed their official date of separation as November 1 while Mellencamp claimed they split on October 20.

Mellencamp is the daughter of famed singer-songwriter John Mellencamp.

She sH๏τ to fame after joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2017, and remained on the show for three seasons as a full time cast member before getting the axe.
