The BBC has released several new images of the upcoming period drama Miss Austen, which features a string renowned actors in leading roles.
The four-part drama, which wrapped production earlier this year, is set to air on BBC iPlayer and BBC One in 2025, marking 250 years since Jane Austen’s birth.
In the new snaps, Bodyguard star Keeley Hawes, 48, looks almost unrecognisable as she transforms into Cᴀssandra Austen.
Meanwhile stars Rose Leslie, Calam Lynch, Synnøve Karlsen, Patsy Ferran, Phyllis Logan, Max Irons, Alfred Enoch, and Liv Hill all feature in the preview pics.
Jessica Hynes, Mirren Mack, and Kevin McNally will also star in the H๏τly-anticipated series.

In one snap, Keeley wore a pale blue Victorian dress which boasted puffed sleeves, a scoop neckline, and a silver embellished buckle belt at the waist.
As she got into character, Keeley styled her dark locks up in a curly updo and accessorised with a silver cross necklace and a pair of pearl drop earrings.

In another snap, Red Riding Hood actor Max, 39, who stars as Henry Hobday in the drama, wore a top hat and suit as he went for a stroll outdoors.
Meanwhile, Game Of Thrones star Rose, 37, who stars as Isabella, had a solemn expression as she donned a lilac Victorian dress.
Patsy, who stars as English novelist Jane Austen in the series, also beamed as she joined Synnøve for a snap.
The drama begins in 1830, many years after Jane has died.
Cᴀssandra (Keeley) rushes to visit Isabella (Rose), the niece of her long-ᴅᴇᴀᴅ fiancé, who is about to lose her home following her father’s death.
Cᴀssandra is ostensibly there to help Isabella, but her real motive is to find a hidden bundle of private letters which, in the wrong hands, she fears could destroy Jane’s reputation.

Upon discovering them, Cᴀssandra is overwhelmed as she is transported back to her youth.
In flashbacks we meet Young Cᴀssy (Synnøve) and Jane (Patsy) as they navigate the romantic infatuations, family feuds and dashed hopes which shaped their lives, and laid the foundations for Jane’s unforgettable stories.
Cᴀssandra’s re-evaluation of her past eventually leads her to find a way to guide Isabella towards the path of true happiness.
The series is an adaptation by Andrea Gibb of the novel Miss Austen by Gil Hornby.
BAFTA award-winning filmmaker Aisling Walsh, 66, is directing the series while Stella Merz is producing for Bonnie Productions and Masterpiece.
Keeley, Andrea Gibb, and Aisling are also executive producers of the show.
According to the BBC, Federation Studios will distribute the series internationally.
