Apprentice star Karren Brady once admitted to being more worried about her weight than her business acumen.
But Lord Sugar’s adviser on the BBC TV show, unveiled another weight loss transformation while attending the Chain of Hope Gala on Friday held in London’s Natural History Museum.
The 55-year-old revealed exclusively to the Mail on Sunday, ‘I have lost quite a bit,’ as she showcased her slender frame on the red carpet, wearing a figure-hugging black dress from high street store Karen Millen.
But Baroness Brady insists her willowy figure is not a result of taking the new weight loss drugs such as Ozempic but from ‘bloody hard work.’
The businesswoman says she doesn’t know how much she has lost in total as ‘I don’t weigh myself’ but thinks it is more than a stone and explained her recent weight loss was triggered by becoming a grandmother this year.

‘I have been on a health kick,’ says Karren.
‘I became a grandma, and I wanted to be a fit healthy grandma, so I started eating healthy and exercising.
‘I haven’t joined (the Ozempic Club) – bloody hard work. It is okay losing it, it is keeping it off.
‘I have lost quite a bit – I don’t know though I don’t weigh myself. I feel better for it. It is good because everything you put on fits.’

In a revealing interview with the Radio Times when she first joined The Apprentice in 2010, she said: ‘I worry I look posh and fat,’ stood next to Lord Sugar, adding: ‘I’ve spent 20 years battling my weight. Alan’s so fit and slim I look huge in comparison.’
But Karren who is the vice chairman of West Ham United, says Lord Sugar has been something of a heath kick buddy.
‘He is great he is very fit. He and my husband cycle when we go away on holiday. He is super fit himself so if anyone is giving tips it is him to me.
‘We went around Italy which was lovely on Lord Sugar’s boat. It was incredible. He is really lovely and has a wonderful family.’
Karren’s influencer daughter Sophia Peschisolido, 27, welcomed a baby boy with fiancé Frankie Mulkin in March, and Karren has just returned from visiting them in Dubai where they live.
‘I’m loving everything about being a grandma. My daughter is fantastic, she lives in Dubai she is coming over next week and we are going there for Christmas.’

Ms Peschisolido now lives in Dubai, but Karren says she has no plans of joining her daughter in the UAE
However, she has no plans to follow the exodus of British millionaires for the sunny tax-free climes of the Emirates.
‘Oh God no. I love this country I could not live anywhere there is nowhere else in the world I would live. I am trying to talk her back.’
Karren recently underwent a £3,500 ‘invisible facelift’ in a bid to eliminate her ‘dreaded jowls’.
The TV personality visited Dr Rita Rakus at her Knightsbridge-based clinic for EndoliftX – a non-invasive process uses a laser-emitting wire to тιԍнтen the skin – promising collagen regeneration.
The television personality has recently been filming the 2025 series of The Apprentice and says of the upcoming series: ‘It is fantastic. I’ve seen a few of the episodes and it is good. Quite a few things will shock.’
