‘My dad has an inoperable tumor that is so big it cannot be treated with chemo. Right now we are looking for a miracle,’ West Coast (born Chelsea Chanel Dudley), 36, shared on Instagram and Twitter.
‘Please everyone reading this if you believe in the power of GOD I ask with all my heart to say a prayer for my dad. Pray he makes it through this somehow someway. Thank you for your support,’ she concluded the post, along with a smiling face with tear, prayer, and red heart emojis.
The Los Angeles native captioned her post by asking for prayers: ‘Please pray for my Dad to make it. We need all the prayers possible. I believe in miracles and I know with enough people praying together he may have a chance.’

Her stepmother, Linda Kuriloff, would also go on to repost the pH๏τo to her Instagram Stories on Friday, while adding a broken heart and hand prayer emojis.
While growing up, she lived part of the year in North Hollywood in LA with her mother, and the rest of the time with her father in New York City, a DJ in New York City.
She credits those visits to the East Coast and her father’s career spinning records as part of the reason why she gravitated to hip-hop and a career as a rapper.
According to her official website, Dudley would bring along a then 8-year-old Chanel to work when he DJ’ed packed nightclubs, and that she used to hide underneath his DJ booth.
‘I’ve always been around music, and I knew it’s what I’d do for the rest of my life. I didn’t have a choice,’ she said of her decision to pursue a career in music.
It turns out, How Do U Want It by legendary late rapper Tupac Shakur is the song that inspired her to grab a microphone and start rapping at the young age of just 14.
