‘Don’t waste two hours of your life’ on this ‘BORING’ Netflix thriller, say fans

Movie fans have been left disappointed and frustrated by ‘terrible’ psychological thriller ‘The Little Things’ on Netlfix.

The film was released in 2021, but only dropped onto Netflix UK at the beginning of September – fans are still reeling after ‘wasting time’ watching it.

People have taken to X (formerly Twitter) to urge others not to make the same mistake.

Despite it’s all-star ensemble of Denzel Washington, Rami Malek and Jared Leto, the serial killer movie had viewers switching off before reaching the ending.

The John Lee Hancock crime drama follows veteran police officer Joe ‘Deke’ Deacon (Denzel Washington) and newer detective Jim Baxter (Rami Malek) as they try to find a serial killer who’s terrifying Los Angeles – Albert Sparma (Jared Leto) becomes their prime suspect.

One viewer tweeted ‘If you are thinking of watching ‘The Little Things on Netflix, don’t bother wasting 2hrs of your life’.

Another person who watched the movie when it was release two years ago, warned people who may be interested in giving it a go now, not to bother.

They wrote ‘The Little Things is now on Netlfix and whatever you do don’t watch it. I wanted my time back after watching.

Been two years and I’m still p****d at how bad / pointless it was.’

Another viewer didn’t even get to the end of the film before making their mind up.

They said ‘Please don’t bother with the little things on Netflix. It’s absolutely terrible, frustrating as hell, so disappointed and I’ve not even got to the end yet but I just know it’s going to be bad.’

Someone else chimed in with ‘This tweet will save you time and sanity. Do not watch The little things on Netflix.’

Others were even ‘offended’ that ‘a legend like Denzel was even casted in such atrocity,’ questioning ‘how could anyone make a film about a serial killer so f***** boring!!!’

Another talking point of the movie is the ending, which left viewers baffled and disappointed.

One person said, ‘Just watched The Little Things. Invested 2 hours of life for a film with a terrible ending,’ while another wrote, ‘Sadly it’s a very cheap low key movie. I found it boring and the ending is silly.’

Someone else called it a ‘slow moving film with no resolution,’ leaving movie fans frustrated by the end.

However, there were people who did enjoy the film, with some expressing that they found it terrifying.

The Mirror reported that one fan wrote: ‘Watching The Little Things on Netflix and the first two minutes are so scary, I’m not sure I can continue.’

Another added ‘Two minutes 52 seconds into The Little Things and it’s made me so anxious, I’ve had to turn it off.’
