The View’s 81-year-old resident liberal, Joy Behar, told the world that she rejected the role of Jason Sudeikis’ mom on Ted Lᴀsso.
Behar revealed on the show’s podcast, Behind the Table, that she refused to play the role of Dottie Lᴀsso on the show’s third season due it being ‘too H๏τ’ in London.
When asked by the producer, Brian Teta, on the show’s latest episode yesterday about why she ‘dismissed the possibility of being on their favorite show of all time’, she said it was because of the heat wave.
‘It was too H๏τ, you remember? There was a heat wave going on at that time, like, 100-degree weather, and I’d have to get on a plane and go in the middle of the heat? No.
‘Listen, I’m a writer, I write my own stuff, I don’t care about other people’s stuff. I don’t need to be in everything,’ she told viewers.

Teta expressed his disappointment and told Behar that the show was the ‘H๏τtest show on TV’.
But Behar denied the claim and said: ‘It was not the H๏τtest show on TV.
‘If they were doing it in the spring I would’ve done it maybe, or in the fall, but not in the middle of the heat wave.’
When Teta reminded her that Baker had received an Emmy nomination for the role, she simply said: ‘Bravo. Good for her.’
