Dua Lipa slips into a black feather cardigan and leather trousers on the H๏τtest day of the year as she films a new advert in Kent

Dua Lipa was surrounded by fans as she stepped out in Kent to film an O2 advert on the H๏τtest day of the year.

The Houdini hitmaker, 28, was spotted in Broadstairs on Saturday braving a black feather and leather ensemble despite the roasting temperatures.

Many speculated that Dua was in the midst of filming a new music video, however it emerged that the shoot appeared to be for an O2 commercial.

Dua caused quite a stir as fans who had headed to the beach to enjoy the sun flocked to catch a glimpse of the pop star in action.

Due to the huge turn out of fans, production had to reorganise the shoot in order to help Dua discreetly enter and exit scenes through shop backdoors.

As the sun beat down, Dua stepped out for filming in a sweltering outfit consisting of a sheer cardigan adorned with huge black, purple and blue feathers. The cardigan showed her black bra underneath.

On the bottom half, Dua sported a pair of Alexander Wang low waist crochet leather trousers with a silver studded belt as well as a pair of patent stilettos.

Dua’s red locks fell loosely by her shoulders, while she wore a chunky silver chain necklace to finish off the look.

On the sweltering peak of the year’s H๏τtest day, the production had the local amusements and ice cream shop closed while filming took place.

A sign attached to barriers read: ‘Caution filming in progress. The producers and crew would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused during the filming of this production.’

Fans flocked to social media to speculate that the star might have been filming a new video for one of her tracks.

However, a cover band called Kiss The Shapes appeared to clear up confusion as they shared an Instagram story saying that one of its band members was to be in the clip – an advert for phone company O2.
