Mask of Tutankhamun

The mask is 54 cm long, 39.3 cm wide and 49 cm deep. The mask is cast entirely of gold, weighs 10.23 kg, and the thickness of the mask ranges from 1.5 to 3 mm.

The face and neck are made of a different gold alloy than the other parts of the mask.

The mask is inlaid with colored glᴀss and many precious stones such as lapis, quartz, obsidian, turquoise….
