Fragment of the hand of a giant statue of Pharaoh AmenH๏τep III

New project to rebuild a colossus in Karnak. I leave you the website in case you want to follow it. First the short introduction to the jobs:

Welcome to the “Reconstruction Project of the Colossus of AmenH๏τep III in the Temple of Amun-Ra in Karnak”, Spanish-Egyptian Mission for the Excavation, Conservation and Restoration of the Great Colossus of AmenH๏τep III, in the X Pylon of the Karnak Complex. We are very excited to welcome you to this project that will restore the largest colossus ever rebuilt in Egypt, over 22 meters high. A Project of the University of Córdoba, in collaboration with the Ministry of Antiquities and Tourism of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

In Karnak there are so many “little pieces” that it is a giant puzzle. I took a pH๏τo of one of the parts of the colossus that they are going to rebuild, it was near the Khonsu temple. You can glimpse the little pieces I’m talking about behind the fist
